i think that is press logic, 3 incidents all worthy of a 3 match ban each 3x3 nine game ban

Did they apply the same logic to others. "Negrito" mentioned 37 times surely would have warranted a bigger ban? You cannot reasonably review the whole match and tot up the foul count. If they did, as Hairy says , there will be an uproar...
At the end of the day NO PLAYER is bigger than the Club. In all respects we have the high ground and the managerial authority the bunch across the park can can only dream about. We are unequivocal in our condemnation. Now watch Moyes really screw every other manager in public when we are on the receiving end. It's so much easier to do when you already hold yourself to the highest standard.
All that said what he has done is also a pretty good input into any interview process for a club who believes success comes from strong management.

I found this on a sky report
The FA will review video evidence of the incident, and could hand out a three-match ban, with Fellaini set to miss games against West Ham, Wigan and Chelsea. However, in theory, the Belgian could be banned for each incident if referee Halsey missed all three and retrospectively rules each was worthy of a red card.

Didn't the whistle blow after he chinned Shawcross?
For the elbow, could he not suggest that he was trying to get out of the half-nelson that Shawcross had him in?
Take the 3 match ban for the shite headbut and get on with it.

That would be illogical. If the ref hadn't missed the first incident, then the second and third wouldn't have taken place. The first incident was a straight red offence, no more no less, worth of a three match ban for serious violent conduct. It could only be a longer ban if the incident had been racism, deliberately kicking the ref in the testicles, or taking a dump on a fan's head or some such weirdness. Sticking the nut on a twat is a simple three match ban offence I think.
Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
I find it amazing that I am hoping our (arguably) best player only gets a 3 match ban.
Fellaini has badly let the club & supporters down...

Some of the reports are ridiculous. I think a bit of perspective is needed. It was a twatish thing to do and he should get a 3 game ban but talk of 9 games is nonsense.

So, 3 games it is then.
Maybe DM's preemptive fine and condemnation worked in our/his favour.
He misses 3 games and we have to consider that a bit of a let off.
Halsey's report saved him too.
Still a for thinking it woudn't be seen.
I wonder if DM will make him train and be at all the games, so he doesn't get Christmas in Brussels?

I'd be very disappointed with the club if they released him over Christmas.. make him clean the boots & train in the pissing rain...
He's gone down massively in my estimation over this.. I am close to thinking he's a total knobend.. very disappointed... it's not what Everton do

Yup, 3 matches.
Is this the last of him at Everton then? Will he go in the transfer window? £30m to Arse or Chelsea, to fund another striker, a goalie, and a box to box midfielder?

Gordon Taylor, chief executive of the Professional Footballers Association, gave credit to Fellaini and Moyes.
"It is good to see the lad has apologised for his actions," Taylor said. "It is disappointing, he has had a great season and obviously it is an aberration.
"It was refreshing to hear the manager accept what he did was wrong and for the player to apologise. He's prepared to accept what comes his way."

Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
Watching the MOTD highlights again (shut up Lawro you cock), the unfortunate thing is that if Fellaini hadn't let his frustration get the better of him, we'd be talking yet again about penalties we should have been given. WTF is going on when refs allow Shawcross to get away with holding in the box a dozen times in one match?
Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
Shawcross is a marked man now though Hairy... he'll be left alone by the refs for the next game.. or it will look like they are picking him out... a couple of pens will be given against him in the game after... yep... against the fucking shite on 26 Dec...hairy cataract wrote:Watching the MOTD highlights again (shut up Lawro you cock), the unfortunate thing is that if Fellaini hadn't let his frustration get the better of him, we'd be talking yet again about penalties we should have been given. You are so fucking right. I'm going to put money on the Shite getting a pen and Shawcross getting a red card
Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
A surprisingly good piece in the Mail:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2249334/Maroune-Fellaini-headbutts-Ryan-Shawcross-Referees-launch-clampdown-holding-penalty-box.html
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2249334/Maroune-Fellaini-headbutts-Ryan-Shawcross-Referees-launch-clampdown-holding-penalty-box.html
It was still illegal to hold on to another player to prevent his movement. Meaning the first foul that was committed in the Stoke City penalty area in the 59th minute on Saturday was by defender Ryan Shawcross.
'That does not justify Marouane Fellaini’s reaction, and is only the tiniest mitigation for an incident that will almost certainly end with a three-match ban for the Everton player, but it is nevertheless an important fact.

I'm gonna put a bet on Fellaini just getting a 3 match ban,due too the quick punishment served on Fellaini by his manager David Moyes. This hopefully will tell the FA what we already know? that is the referee's ain't consistant nor are the FA.Honesty should prevail in this matter.
As for Shawcross,i said yesterday both he and Goofy C*n t (suarez) have gotten away with murder many times. If their's any justice left in football, both players will reap what they sow at the weekend.
Whats the odds of both Shawcross & Suarez getting sent off?
Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
I am putting a bet on that we concede a penalty against West Ham due to holding in the box from a corner. It's a fucking knapp. We bring it right to the fore and we will be the first to suffer from it.
