In this scenario, who would take over from Klopp as Shite manager? Severus Snape? Don't say Voldemort, let's keep this real please FFS.
(Sorry, I'm not really up on Harry Potter.)

I feel as if the players at his disposal at Everton should provide a higher winning percentage that the other two teams, but maybe the sum of the parts is not higher than the individual parts when it comes to our current team.

you know Thor.. I've been thinking about our current first team squad and we have the following players... I believe (but may be wrong) all of who have been relegated with other teams .... and a manager that relegated a team too.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I feel as if the players at his disposal at Everton should provide a higher winning percentage that the other two teams, but maybe the sum of the parts is not higher than the individual parts when it comes to our current team.
Godfrey, Tarkowski, McNeil, Harrison, Keane, Doucoure...
Is it any wonder we are where we are ?

You might be right, maybe I just feel like the team should do better, but they clearly aren't.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:you know Thor.. Re: Sean Dyche - has one hell of a job to do !
The problem though is that we probably can't afford to sack him. Besides, who would want to take over this hot steaming pile of crap as the next manager?

he'll probably sack us anyway when we go into administration in the next few weeks... fucking shambles of a clubKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:The problem though is that we probably can't afford to sack him. Besides, who would want to take over this hot steaming pile of crap as the next manager?

Saw a tweet the other day suggesting we go for Klopp. Knows the area, family is settled etc.
I saw another tweet suggesting that Dyche is so bad, Mike Walker's reputation is now rehabilitated. So watch this space.
Personally I'd go for Ru Paul. Give me one good reason why not?

Ru Paul is packing more up front than us, so it's a no from meRotterdam 1985 wrote:Made 4 Gwladys wrote:he'll probably sack us anyway when we go into administration in the next few weeks... fucking shambles of a clubKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:The problem though is that we probably can't afford to sack him. I had to Google who that is, so surely that's a reason?Rotterdam 1985 wrote:Made 4 Gwladys wrote:he'll probably sack us anyway when we go into administration in the next few weeks... fucking shambles of a clubKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:The problem though is that we probably can't afford to sack him. And I'm fast going off him!
I'm pleased that I can say this after a win but Dyche's idea of how to defend a 1-0 lead against a shit team is completely different to mine. Forest only dominated the second half (until McNeil's goal) because Dyche chose to allow them to. I could see moves breaking down because, say, Myko wanted to bomb on but would then hesitate, as if he'd been told to not leave his own half. When we did show some positivity, we showed Forest up to be what they are - really limited at the back.
I ain't saying get rid of Dyche. I don't think there are a lot of realistic alternatives who would be any better, and overall he has not only done a good job for us with a poor squad but has (as importantly) been a stabilising force at a club in turmoil. But I'm getting more frustrated with the way he plays.
I'm still of the opinion that beggars can't be choosers. Too many blues on Twitter want him gone and seem to think that we can just magic up any old bloke who a) will do a better job and b) would actually want to come to us. I think they're living in the clouds - just look at our manager history post-Moyes. But bloody hell, Dyche's tactics and selections have become more baffling, to my eyes, in recent weeks.
Big thing about today's win though is that we got a reaction after the 6-0. After Chelsea I was thinking we might be just done for the season. Credit to Dyche for that.

I'll probably go off him again in a few days when we sandwich that 2-0 win with the Chavski 6-0 & the shite 0-6.Rotterdam 1985 wrote:Made 4 Gwladys wrote: I like him again now...

...but right now I couldn't give a rats arse how we play as long as we get the points...... I'd have been happy with a xG of 0.01 yesterday to Fiorests' xG of 12... as long as we won... UTFT
