Re: everton v liverpoo
Great block by Godfrey on that cracking strike from Thiago. We survive it though and can counter.
Re: everton v liverpoo
McManaman FUMING about Van Dijk's injury. Pub bore. The ghost of Geoff Nulty's career says fuck the fuck off.
Re: everton v liverpoo
1-1 HT
i feel we are lucky to be level, we seem to be at odds with each other, carlo and dunc need to give them a wake up call in the dressing room. need to play better

Also they're really fucking good. The worst thing about Liverpool is that they play like this. If it was anyone else I'd love watching them. The angles they create, both running and passing...really hard for any team to cope with when they're on it.
Given all that, it's discouraging that our midfield three seems disjointed. They're being pulled all over the place.
Re: everton v liverpoo
The more I see the Pickford tackle the more I think he's a total wanker... we are very lucky to still have 11 on the park

The media will be all over Pickford/Van Dyck.
Good old fashioned footy clash. (I remember Jimmy Case ffs)
Did I mention that the commentators pyss me off every derby day?

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I reckon he's got the mentality of an 11-year-old. You know when you're kicking the ball around on your own in the garden when you're a kid, and you're commentating on yourself, either out loud or in your head? I reckon he's still doing that, in a world of his own, and can't concentrate on the actual game. He then gets awakened from his commentary slumber, has a split second to make a decision, and makes the wrong one.

Yeah I agree, I don't think I worded myself particularly well. We need those three to be right on it today, to have a chance. In the first half they're weren't.
