Everton 0 Man Utd 1

Everton face the walking wounded after a serious spanking from their ' noisy neighbours ', a quick one two v Altrincham in midweek, and Everton on the back of yet another cup defeat look to return winning ways following a decent yet fortunate away win to Fulham.
If, like me - you don't even bother listening when we play either of the Sky 3/4/5/6 depending on who is commentating, you'll be glad to know we're missing our current ' luvvie ' Mr Drenthe, following a committed midweek peformance his red cards sees him missing a good opportunity to stick one in the eye of the media and pundits.
Everton usually play very well as we know v these lot, and you'll remember
[Ahem]

We can win against these, despite the obvious gulf in talent and i do hope we can make amends for a pretty good midweek display,
1-1

They will tear us apart and, without Drenthe, we have nobody to make things happen for us. A humiliating drubbing, at least 0-4, possibly more.

Pretty much agree, but I think we'll make things tough for them and lose 0-1.

Barclay vs Fella, playing for the January Transfer market lead role. 7-0 blues. Hibbo scoring the first 3....

Re: Everton 0 Man Utd 1
I don't think it will be as easy for United as many are making out. We normally raise our game for the big guns, as we did against Chelsea midweek, and we normally defend pretty well againt them as well. I am not saying that we will win, or even get a draw, but a good, spirited performance would set us up nicely for the next 12 games which are potentially all winnable.
I suspect Moyes will go defensive again with only one up top. I also think that he will play Neville, Fellaini and Rodwell to protect our back 4.
Man Unt will obviousy licking their wounds after their derby game so could well be on the backlash. The Manc derby did expose their weaknesses however and I am sure that Moyes will see potential to breach their defense. Evans is suspended (sadly for us), Ferdinand is well out of form, Vidic hasn't been fully fit, Jones and Smalling are not yet the finished article. We have a chance at getting through to their keeper who has made a few "Muchas" himself this season.
COYB!!!

might work out better for us - cahill is not the best defensive or creative midfielder, he just scores goals or rather used to, so getting velios on from the start will give us more fexibility in midfield, play fella further forward, with billy and coleman on the wings, and rodders and johny 5 in a more defensive role.
Hibbo is preferred over pip anyway in these games.

Howard
Hibbo Jags Distin Baines
Osman Felli Rodwell Bily
Velios Saha
No real choice there.
i think Velios v Phil Jones will be a nice battle, and Felli is coming into a nice purple patch of form.

I would rather Ross Barkley than Jonny 'flatters to deceive' H, play him in front of Jack, wont happen like, it will be ten hibbert clones in front of Tim
