everton v man utd
back home to goodison, will we return to winning ways, utd seem to hit a bit of form of late, whilst we have lost 2 on the bounce after the derby draw, still without richy, can we muster up the fighting spirit to take 3 points here and keep pace with the top 6
i think we can do it if we get at them from the off, and STOP the " barbershop football "

They are 'there for the taking'. Although that is what they will be thinking too...

Re: everton v man utd
Picky will be back.
I thought Olsen was more than I had anticipated.
The strong arm save was exceptional, an his block leading up to the penalty was every bit as good as Pickford at his best.
He's a big unit too. Always a bonus.

I talked to my dad earlier today (he's a Man Utd fan) and he'd prefer to see Pickford in goal for us...Yankthattoffee wrote:Picky will be back.

Yeah. I get that. I thought Olsen did everything you would want from him, and his physique gives the defense some reassurance. Crosses he grabbed, Picky would probably have punched.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I talked to my dad earlier today (he's a Man Utd fan) and he'd prefer to see Pickford in goal for us...Yankthattoffee wrote:Picky will be back.

As a stand in keeper ,Olsen did well last Sunday, the record states though he conceded two goals against mid-table opposition ,which ever keeper you put in it still doesn't make our defence any better, Yerry Mina will still be selected , so I'm gonna put my neck on the line (awaiting incoming criticism) Yerry Mina is are biggest liability in defence, have said this before, Mina style of play is over shadowed when both Coleman and Digne are playing , when Godfrey was playing out of position at RB, Mina was exposed,so when Coleman returns, I would like to see a new Centre Back partnership in Godfrey and Keane.
With the two suspensions of Richarlison and Digne are squad has shown its not good enough. I'm sure Anchelotti knows we need better cover for Coleman and Richarlison. DCL also need some support, Cenk Tosun is not going to take the premiership by storm is he? His wages are too high and nobody wants him'' its Niassie all over again'' If Everton want to crack Europe or the Premiership top four, we need better players than? Iwobie-Kenny-Sigurdsson-Tosun-Bernard -Gomes.
I just hope the trio of Coleman -Digne-James are all fit.
would like to see Holdgate return sooner rather than later, hopefully Gbamin at some stage too.
Against United I see us getting something .

Carlo Ancelotti has revealed James Rodriguez, Mason Holgate and Seamus Coleman are fit and available for Everton’s Premier League clash with Manchester United at Goodison Park on Saturday (12.30pm GMT).
Lucas Digne is available again after completing a one-match suspension.
Fabian Delph will miss the game, however, with a minor knock

I read earlier today that Coleman would be available as well. Massive bonus to get all these players back. Edit: just re-read your post and Coleman was already mentioned.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:Carlo Ancelotti has revealed James Rodriguez, Mason Holgate and Seamus Coleman are fit and available for Everton’s Premier League clash with Manchester United at Goodison Park on Saturday (12.30pm GMT).

If, and that's a big if, Holegate is ready to play, I'd play him ahead of Mina who is simply too slow.

Re: everton v man utd
And another early kick-off for me. My wife loves it when the alarm goes off at 5AM on Saturday morning for a 5:30AM kick-off.

Re: everton v man utd
Whether Holgate is going to be fully fit enough to start is doubtful. Been out for a while. After the international break is more likely for a starting place. Coleman, Digne and Hammy are most welcome, but its Ritchies energy that is the biggest miss. Havent won a league game without him since his arrival.
Worried about today as never sure which Man Yoo will turn up. Hopefully the squad issues will be sorted in January so we dont collapse when a few key players are out.

Not a bad line up, no pace there, though. Bench looks thin attacking wise, no-one there to change a game.
