A wee bit more scrappy at the moment after we dominated the first 3-4 minutes.
WB corner now....

GOAL - Aston Villa 0-1 Chelsea - Daniel Sturridge (9 mins)
After a neat build-up by Chelsea, Juan Mata crosses for Fernando Torres, who is denied by Shay Given in the six yard box when the Villa keeper dives at his feet. It's a great save but it is to no avail because the ball falls for Daniel Sturridge to slot into the unguarded net. There was a Villa player on the floor injured, but I'm not sure what happened to the rest of their defence.

Hibbert skips past the defender and delivers a cross which after some semi-panic in and around the box is cleared.

OSSIE!!! 1-0. It must have taken a deflection.

Re: Everton 2 vs West Brom 0 (McAuley o.g., Anichebe)
Nice link up play between Osman and Jelavic. Osman passes to Jelavic who one times the ball back, Osman takes the left footed shot and it's deflected off a WB defender and Foster has no chance. Might turn out to be an own goal actually.

Certainly the stream put it down as a Macauley OG.

Re: Everton 2 vs West Brom 0 (McAuley o.g., Anichebe)
Too complicated there, where Hibbert lofts a ball in to the box after some nice link up play between several players, in the end Foster can collect.

GOAL - QPR 1-0 Arsenal - Adel Taarabt
We have not seen an awful lot of Adel Tarrabt in the Premier League this season, but he has just made his mark in a big way here. The Moroccan, who previously had the most shots in the top flight without scoring this campaign, glides past Thomas Vermaelen and leathers a low shot into the bottom corner. Rangers are ahead and the form book is turned upside down, for now at least.
Re: Everton 2 vs West Brom 0 (McAuley o.g., Anichebe)
We are looking tidy, moving the ball around well abd it seems like many of the players want to contribute and are not afraid of the ball. Good to see.
Re: Everton 2 vs West Brom 0 (McAuley o.g., Anichebe)
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Scharner (who else) almost score!
Re: Everton 2 vs West Brom 0 (McAuley o.g., Anichebe)
That was close by Scharner. Brunt rebound blocked by his own player. Phewee.

Felli with a good shot from the edge of the box. Parried for the corner by Foster.

Re: Everton 2 vs West Brom 0 (McAuley o.g., Anichebe)
We are really lucky there, Scharner's shot is parried by Howard into the path of the WBA player but Hibbert manages to screen him away enough to pevent a simple tap in.
At the other end, Fellaini takes a pop from the edge of the box and Foster makes a great save, we get a corner.

Baines corner is straight into the hands of Foster.

Not that Heitanga has had a lot to do, but he is really looking like a player full of confidence.
Re: Everton 2 vs West Brom 0 (McAuley o.g., Anichebe)
BBC still giving the Goal to Ossie
GOALEverton 1-0 West Brom - Leon Osman
Leon Osman opens the scoring for Everton with a 20-yard strike - but there is a huge element of fortune. Neat build-up play sees Osman spin off his marker and play a quick one-two with Nikica Jelavic before his strike takes a wicked deflection off West Brom defender Gareth McAuley and past a stranded Ben Foster.
