first home game, massive welcome from the home fans, we will kick off our fortress goodison campaign with a 2 nil win against the baggies

Having slept on yesterday's game... we were well in control & to be fair, very good indeed... we should have taken 3 points home..

Defence leaks but is strong on paper... No saves of note from Tim, but can't blame him for any errors... I though Dizzy was very good making crucial interceptions & tackles... Jags looks out of sorts, maybe an England hangover... I like the way we bomb forward with Baines & Seamus, but we need to fill the gaps left with Kev & Pieman or we get mullered on the counter

Midfield was hot & cold .. Barks was tremendous, fantastic (not quite outstanding though)... Ossie disappointing and weak & I think he'll be the one to be replaced by Gibbo or Duelfoofoo... Felli a little rusty I thought but the nearest thing to a playmaker without Gibbo.. Pieman disappointing & Kev great in bits, but went missing for long spells

Jelli was lively I thought & did great work for Seamies's goal.. not one offside was miraculous

Subs... Ice Cream Cone was shite, didn't even notice he was on... Nais was fucking worse, I can't believe we haven't sold the twat.. his shit tackle was the start of the move for their 2nd.. Ani too little time to judge

So anyway... we will twat the Baggies 2-0 (SuperKev & Jelli) & the fortress Goodison era will re-initate under Robbie Marti ....

I thought his movement and placement was off as well. Maybe he's carrying a slight injury? Otherwise it would have been a rather massive performance drop in a very short time.
