How does he know it's wrong if his own comprehension of English isn't brilliant yet?

Reports are that he is on 70k. The going rate I suppose.

Mate who is a shareholder tells me £20M over 5 years, although that might mean slightly less now and more each subsequent year.Mr_Ben wrote:any idea what his wage was yesterday?

Marouane Fellaini won more tackles, ground duels, aerial duels and made more passes than anyone else at the club during last season. Fellaini also won the ball 190 times in midfield, by far the most in the top flight.

Chelsea are eyeing a £20m move for Everton's 24-year-old Marouane Fellaini, who tops their list of candidates for a midfield enforcer.

He may be going to Chelsea, but not for £20million. We don't sell cheap, and they've just spunked £35million on someone who's not played outside france.

I hope Fellaini don't leave, everyone talks about baines being are best player, for me Fellaini has really come to the forefront of the premiership, baines wasn't playing when Fellaini dominated many of the latter games last season,so much so that Moyes is considering pushing Fellaini up behind jelavic next season, deffinately worth more than 20 mil.

I think Fellaini was one of the top 3 midfielders in the Premier League last season. He is irreplaceable and £24 million would be a steal.

Yeah, he's worth a lot to Everton... a lot more than he is to Chelsea.

He'd get splinters on the Chavski bench & beg to come back on loan like Peanuts... that we get the player & the moneyTonteau wrote:Dixie Land wrote:Made 4 Gwladys wrote:I seriously like Felli & he is core to a lot of our play... but we could buy a hell of a lot for 24 Million & prob keep Baines tooBryan wrote:Albert wrote:Bryan wrote:Didn't know he negotiated a release fee.

He is twice the player Jon Obi Mikel is. He would fit in well there.
Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
£24m for a player we signed for £15m 4 years who is now at least twice as good as when he arrived! Thats not great is it.
Im not convinced its true though. Its not the kind of thing we normally agree to but having said that - we were pretty desperate at the time he signed the contracts so who knows?
If we were to sell Felli we would need to replace him with 2 or 3 really decent prospects rather than old hat as our squad is getting old.

Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
I won't get into the cynicism surrounding footy, but Felliani is an absoloute world class midfilder, a simple google search will return his stats last season, he has comitted to a long term contract on the basis that if a world class team comes in for him ( at the agreed price ) he will be allowed to talk to them, it's not rocket science, we can't offer him champions league footy, and only a handful of teams City, UTD, Chelsea at a push can - they, in particular will have a utterly frightening midfield next season with Mata - Hulk - Hazard - Marin + Felliani (?)
I'd like to think we've taught Felliani they mystical 'ways of Everton', humble and hardworking, which proves he will eventually get to the top. Sadly, it won't be wearing the Blue of Everton.
I'd like around £30m please Roman

Don't know if we can call him world class til he's been tested at the hightest level. Other than that, agree with the above. I only saw about five minutes of the Eng v Belg game but, in that short time frame, he looked the best player on the pitch.

Pretty much agree, except about Hulk. Who's shite.
Fellaini's biggest problem will be the fact that he'll have a lot of competition for places as chelsea appear to have a bout a million players that play central midfield. If he actually wants to play football, he'll be better off at Everton. As Pienaar will tell him "getting champions league football" isn't always all it's cracked up to be. But he may want to 'Be part of a winning team' in which case, he should go to Man City.
