Re: Everton vs Burnley
Niasse with a header wide from a Baines cross. There was not much pace on the cross and Niasse had to try and generate his won pace, not easy. About a yard wide of the post from 7-8 yards out.
Schneiderlin makes way for Rooney.

Re: Everton vs Burnley
We are so desperate to try and make something happen we are taking shots from long ways out. Siggy this time with an effort from 35 yards out, about 10 yards over the bar.

Re: Everton vs Burnley
It's not a good sign where you see several players waving their arms around letting their teammates know they are looking for options - a clear sign of frustration.
Re: Everton vs Burnley
Davies comes on for Vlasic.
I thought Vlasic started brightly but faded equally quickly.

Re: Everton vs Burnley
I like how Burnley whips in freekicks and corner with great pace, dangerous every time.
Re: Everton vs Burnley
And compare that to Baines cross there, a nice floating cross which the goalie Pope can easily collect.
Re: Everton vs Burnley
The tempo is a bit higher, and the crowd can sense that we are starting to go for it.
Re: Everton vs Burnley
Lots of route one stuff here, but the crosses in to the box are not very good.
At least we are now starting to push the tempo and are (finally) showing intent.

Re: Everton vs Burnley
I have been watching the Toffees since 1972 and Koeman is the second most clueless manager in the history of the club after Mike Walker.

Gueye with a shot from distance. Over.
2 minutes later, Rooney with a shot from distance. Over.

Re: Everton vs Burnley
4 minutes of stoppage time. Not sure it matters since it feels like we could play 40 minutes of added time and we would still not score.
Re: Everton vs Burnley
Williams with a stooping header, off the chest of a Burnley defender and a foot or so wide of the post, corner. Cleared.
Re: Everton vs Burnley
All over, massive boos from the crowd.
Well, the Burnley section is singling at the top of their lungs.

Re: Everton vs Burnley
Surely koeman has gotta go, the team look like they ain't playing for him at all. That was embarrassing again

Re: Everton vs Burnley
He's got to go. We seemed to be playing about seven different systems, and each player thought we were playing a different one to his team-mate. Chaotic. Dreadful. Appalling.

Dreadfull performance against a bunch of journeymen.

Re: Everton vs Burnley
I think Phil Neville summed it up rather well: Everton have better players; Burnley have a better team.
