Everton v Doncaster
Cue the 'cup upset... Everton beat Doncaster' gag. We'll win this one. DCL and that Iliman guy for us, no one for them.
Full strength team please because I dread to think of the impact on our morale if we lose.

It’s not entirely clear which is the PL side and which is L2.

Pushing 4 hours of football without a goal and you chose then. It’s a sign. Could you maybe go downstairs for food a few more times just to ensure we get a much needed morale-booster?

I've topped up my bowl of quinoa salad but it doesn't look like we scored

Why have we switched to taking short corners when we have 6' 6" O'Brien in the box?

Re: Everton v Doncaster
FT 3-0. Iliman looks good - happy to run at defenders and make stuff happen. The rest... meh.

Re: Everton v Doncaster
Ndiaye really grew into the game. He looks really classy, by our standards. Tim is just a fucking bargain - he seems to have everything that we thought Onana would have, and he only cost about ten bob. Incredible. Coleman coming back made a big difference I thought, and O'Brien looked quite Branthwaite-like in his calm, composure.
On the other hand, Lindstrom looked like every forgettable winger we've had over the decades - not sure if he'll make it, but early days eh.
Nice to see Dixon showing so much confidence when the kid came on - don't know if he's any good, but he definitely likes to get hold of the ball and try to make things happen.
Anyway, 3-0! We're going to win the cup!
How shit is Beto?

Thought Ironbogeynuman was decent and an encouraging start for O'Brien. Ndiaye improved as game went on too

Re: Everton v Doncaster
I'm sorely tempted to find a Doncaster Rovers messageboard and give it large.
"You're just a racecourse in Yorkshire".
Just for my self-esteem, like.

Re: Everton v Doncaster
Woeful first half. More like it second.
I feel sorry for Beto. Big hearted and committed, but sadly lacking in the skill column. Took the 3rd well though. Before that?
The Roog looks like a Coleman kind of steal. £9 million, 9 Million Tim Iroegbunam. £9 Million I say.......
Young booed coming on. Makes a foul, and the guy next to me yells, Send him off!
Big Jake looks like the Big Jarrad replacement, and alongside Keane too. (whisper it, but Keane had a good outing, although OK it was Donny Rovers)
Ndiaye looked cute at times, but my bet is he will be infuriating as the season goes on. He's got Lil' Tom's habit of dribbling to the right, keeping the ball on his right foot, rather than keeping the ball on his left foot and protecting the ball. He will lose more dribbles than he will win and probably in the worst place on the pitch, and you know how bad we are in transition. See how positive I am huh?

Re: Everton v Doncaster
only Doncaster but I thought we did ok... I'm ok if Beto looks shit all game then pops up to slot in a winner or two... Chris Wood does it for Forest.... We need a battering ram sub when DCL is knackered or injured (again) and we ain't gonna get anyone better IMO (maybe Chermiti if he's fit).
I like the look of Iroguhamcheeseomelette and Ndiaye was decent I thought... nice to see Seamus back as that position is worrying, even when Patterson (who is shit) is fit. Also good to see Garner & Myko running around a bit (but not a lot else).
Young is confirmed as really, really shit & Keane remains a worry despite doing ok ... praying O'Brien steps up & we have a choice of 2 CB's from him, Tarks & Branth going forwards
