We'll dick these. They're shite and bang out of form, plus we haven't lost in ages.

Re: MAN UTD V EVERTON
To what extent will Ramadan have on the next 2-3 games?
I notice Salah is on the bench tonight.
Good to see the Prem allowing a first half stoppage for dinking fluids.
Our whole midfield would have been fasting before the Spurs game. It's got to have an effect?

Re: MAN UTD V EVERTON
HT 1-0 to Manure
Simms should have scored but Manure should have had six or more... if it wasn't for Pickford we'd be embarrassed by half time.
Our defence is shocking.. stop the fucking cross FFS
Dyche will surely give them a massive bollocking...
and by the way Onana should have tracked the man for their goal .. lazy fucker.
we have almost no chance of even a point here unless it changes hugely in the second half

I guess it was always going to be a tall order to get anything away against United. At least only -2 on the goal difference.

I was half watching the second half, but we just look non-threatening more or less all the time.

haha. I can't imagine any other scenario when Lil Tom and Garner replace Gueye and Onana.Da Judge wrote:Yankthattoffee wrote:fasting?Blue gazza wrote:davies & garner coming on for onana & gueye

Just saw MOTD. Woa we were dreadful at the back. Just simple balls over the top, which has always been Keane's downfall, but poor Seamus.
What were Dyche's tactics. The back 4 saw too little support from the middle 2.
Is Godfrey better than Mykkie?
Simms too raw, despite the goal at Chelsea.
Anohehr cup final at GP next week.

Godfrey was a problem yesterday, for me. It's fine to have all that pace but it's pretty moot if your positioning is shocking. So the one where he got back and made the saving tackle (on Anthony, was it?) was what I consider to be classic Carragher defending - a great tackle but entirely his fault that he had five yards to make up in the first place. Carra made a career out of that, getting plaudits for recovery tackles caused by him being in the wrong place to start with.
Simms still has value as a Weghorst-type striker - his link-up play is good, just don't expect too many goals. He's made two starts for us, at Anfield and at Old Trafford. That's tough sledding. He isn't a Prem striker but the future of Ellis Simms is of zero consequence to us right now, it's what he can do over the next eight games that matters.
Tough on Seamus, he's been really good for a while now. And that error serves to remind us that we haven't been making too many ricks at the back of late. Better he does that at Old Trafford while already 1-0 down than at Leicester when it's 0-0.
Re: MAN UTD V EVERTON
Its difficult to have too much hope, as we really are total shit and have zero goal threat.
However, somehow we are still out of the bottom 3 after a run of 3 games I thought we would get 0 points from, and teams around us are playing just as shit as us.
Its pretty much down to a bit of luck now, a crap VAR decision, flukey late goal, dodgy sending off, ropey penalty decision. Hopefully they go in our favour.
I still think we are one of the 4 worst teams along with Soton, B'mouth and Forest but maybe the home crowd can keep is up? The atmosphere has been amazing recently and if we are still in with a chance when we play Bournemouth it will be insane!!!

Re: MAN UTD V EVERTON
Agree. We seem to be incapable of scoring on a regular basis, or scoring period really, and it's difficult to rack up some wins if you can't score.callmebubbles wrote:Its difficult to have too much hope, as we really are total shit and have zero goal threat.

As you noted, if we stay up, it's because there are three, not four or five, worse teams than us and we need some luck to go with it.
