Re: Villa v Everton
Poor Danjuma, he makes a run down the left and the ball to him is over-cooked and goes out of play. A run down the line for nothing.
Re: Villa v Everton
Only twice previously have Everton lost each of their first two league games in a season without scoring a single goal, doing so in 1952-53 in the second tier and 1955-56 in the top-flight.
Re: Villa v Everton
so, even after only 2 games our pathetic team has made us feel the season is over & we are doomed.
fucking shambles
fucking shambles

Glad I'm not watching. We're rock bottom of the table already.

Re: Villa v Everton
The 4-0 goal, Young with a terrible throw-in which Keane can't get to and a Villa player is one on one with Pickford and he scores.
Re: Villa v Everton
Maupay's confidence is so shot that he's clearly nervous about even the standard link-up play with his teammates. As a result, he gets it wrong most times. I feel for him.
Re: Villa v Everton
Dunjama takes on the entire Villa defense and manages to get a corner. I like that he is not afraid to take on the defenders.
Re: Villa v Everton
let's me totally honest here.... you HAVE to blame Rotts for this !!

Re: Villa v Everton
Could set a record this season. Bottom of the table with 2 points after 38 games (2 x 0-0 draws) and not scoring a single goal in those 38 games. 2 down, 36 to go. Have wasted my money on a season ticket this year. Not sure I will go to many, just too depressing. Cunty fucking football and my totally shite team!!! Fuck, fuck, fuck! (..and relax).

Re: Villa v Everton
Not sure that even in our worst case scenario we had predicted bottom of the table after two games and looking even worse than last year.

Re: Villa v Everton
Presumably DCL has a broken cheekbone? In which case he should be able to play with a mask against Wolves (which is a relegation six-pointer).
Hopefully this result means we pull our fingers out in the transfer market.

Re: Villa v Everton
It's definitely time to start Branthwaite instead of Keane who is struggling.
Not many positives to take from this game. Maybe the fact that Danjuma tries to take on the defenders and go for it. And Pickford made a great save at 2-0 to push the ball onto the post. But it was all in vain anyway.
