Tarko sticks with DCL at the back post, and his job appears to be to block big Virgil so that DCL gets a free header. Or a contested header with "Trent" (TM) which is pretty much the same thing.
Just a theory, but Tarko seems to know exactly what he's doing there.
It was definitely pre-planned. Tarko is clearly seen in the prep of the corner talking to DCL. What followed is a classic basketball pick and roll. Dyche knew Terence "Trent-Derby" is not a jumper. Put the ball onto the back stick and have DCL run onto it ... VVD then moves towards the flight of the ball and Tarks rotates (the roll) and stands his ground. VVD is stunned to see that suddenly he is not going to get to challenge and instantly knows he has been done.... Hands up screaming that nobody jumped...
It was a thing of beauty...

Dyche is certainly good at set pieces... I think MOTD said we were 2nd or 3rd best in the prem
If we could only have combines the Marines love of the open game, with Dyche's love of the corner.....both ends.
Martinexz didn't practice corners at all. What he missed.
I fecking hate pre predictive text. That makes no reckon sense at all.
