Looks like Rotts has abdicated his duties, so I’ll do it.

Richie returns, most likely to break our achy hearts - though he might well cry when he scores - and to remind us of how shit we are these days.

Gana is back in midfield but the bench is a mixture of rejects, has beens, and never will bes.

But we are Everton and so we will crush these cockney cunts 3-0 people, with goals for DCL, Doris and Dandy Nichols

Thanks. I am more likely to understand ancient Sanskrit graffiti scrawled on a weathered stone than I am the rules and regs of who starts a match thread on this board.

I predict a defeat. Everton 2 (Sir Philip Carter, Aaron Lennon OG) Spuds 3 (John Lennon, Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, Aaron Lennon OG)

Sack the Board. End Football. Fuck the Corrupt PL. Smash the Tory Poll Tax. Nuclear Power? Nein Danke. We Shall Overcome. Never Gonna Give You Up. COYB.

That second goal feels like such a punch in the guts. Never mind who scored it, we've been well on top, that's their first real attack since about the 12th minute. Sickening.

HT 1-2. Final ball quality remains an issue, corners aside, but otherwise we absolutely do not deserve to be behind.

That van de Ven might be the best CB in the league right now.

We've just started to unpick their offside trap. Still have some optimism here.

We’ve been really good. DCL, besides the goal, has probably had his best game of the season so far. Our crossing is abysmal. Dyche has got our tactics spot on though.

Next goal is massive of course. Richie bound to get the perfect hat trick.

I would like to kick Allie McCoist very hard again and again. Shut up!!

BT have given our goal to Harrison so the wait goes on for DCL

We weren't as good in the second half but we still deserved that point, and the bit of luck with the offside call.

Great fighting spirit shown, and it would have been rather unfair if Spurs had left Goodison with all three points.

I watched the game on a local Mexican channel so didn't understand what was being said, but that mattered little at the end when we scored the 2-2 goal, the commentators were as excited as I was. Very Happy

Great effort if nothing else. If Richie played for us, we likely would have won.
