So, on to the next one.

Tough tough game. Spurs are arguably a top 4 side, whilst we're still just top 4 wannabes, missing Fellaini and Pienaar and possibly Arteta. At the moment, all I can envisage is Van Der Vaart related nightmares. In fact, he's going into my fantasy football team for the weekend just to soften the blow.

I presume the team will be the same as the one that started versus Liverpool, barring injuries to Osman, Heitinga and Arteta. If them three are injured, then I'm struggling for a team,

Howard
Hibbert Jagielka Distin Jagielka
Coleman Cahill Neville Billy
Beckford Yakubu

All in all, despite the recent positives, I can see my lil run coming to an end. 2-0 Spurs.

TEAM
Howard, Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Cahill, Coleman, Heitinga, Pienaar, Bilyaletdinov, Yakubu

Subs:

Mucha, Duffy, Baxter, Beckford, Gueye, Hibbert, Saha

We could win this.

But only if Spurs are flying Alitalia on the way back from Milan on Wednesday, their flight is delayed for 6 days, and gthey have to field a youth team. If that happens, we'll sneak a 1-0 win (Yak).

Poetic justice for us having to play them after Benfica Thursday - Bolton Sunday and then Sporting Lisbon just before the League game?

The way you beat spurs is by doing to them exactly what we did to liverpool. Getting in their faces, putting them under pressure and not giving them space to play. If you do, you get punished as they can knock it about like the best of them when not under pressure. Hope Heitinga is fit as we need someone to disrupt their midfield.

This is a good time to play Spurs, following their game against Inter, but our injuries are a worry. With Rodwell, Fellaini and Pienaar in the starting line up I would go for an Everton win but with them missing Im going to have to go for an Everton win. cheers cheers cheers

1-0 to the Mighty Blues. cheers cheers cheers

Four games without a defeat and all of a sudden things are starting to look healthier, three clean sheets meaning Tim Howard now has 59 in the Premier League & 70 in all competitions.

Up next on the 23rd October is Tottenham away, David Moyes has managed Everton in Premiership games on this date twice. A 3-2 win away against Norwich in 2004 and a 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea in 2005.

David Moyes away record in the Premiership has produced 3 wins and 5 defeats. After four defeats in a row starting in the 2002-2003 season, we then managed three wins, before last seasons 2-1 defeat, a game we should have sneaked a point, had Donovan found the back of the net when he had a decent chance.

Hopefully Spurs will have a hard game against Inter Milan in the week and we will able to profit and continue our unbeaten run.

Everton to get a sneaky 2-1 win, with goals from Cahill & Yakubu.

1-0 to Everton. Early goal - hang in there. Might be a surprise scorer - Baines, Coleman Jags - even The Yak!

Watching Spuds tonight against the FSW 11 we are going to have our work cut out... Spuds were appalling in the first 30 minutes & this was compounded by their goalkeeping clown getting an early red card.

Twitchy must have torn them to shit at half time as they were so much better, even with 10 men, in the second half...

Gareth Bale was world class & he will need to be stopped by Pip or Hibbo, whoever is at RB...

Van Der Vaart will be back & he will be trouble... we need Heitinga on him & he needs to have a storming game to stop him causing us serious damage

The few glimmers of hope I can see, are Assou Ekotto at full back is truly shite... and Seamus really could rip him up.. and their centre backs are average.

This is going to be bloody hard work and if we come away with a draw it will be a fine result.. ever the optimist though, I reckon we'll somehow sneak a win ... I know it's not rational, but there you are... 1-3 COYB
