Bumley v Everton
Burnley away - Sat 16 Dec 5:30pm KO
OK I'm going for 4 wins in a row here ... so hold onto your sleighs.
I actually thought this would be our only winnable game out of the last two... and the two that follow... but the blues are on fire.
The worry is that Branthwaite is suspended so who will pair up with Tarks? .. rumours that Keane is out through injury may be a blessing, but does that mean Godfrey comes in, who Dyche apparently does not trust.... CB is looking like a nasty problem.
Gueye is also suspended,
Still, if we play like we have in the last few games this is winnable & I'm going for exactly that... 1-4 to the mighty toffees, despite what my tipster will say (to scared to tip us to win there as it always backfires).
DCL with 2 ... Harrison & Onana ... one off someones arse from a corner for them.
That said... Bumley will cause us problems & this will be tough... we'll need to work, work work & break.... perfect for Dycheball.
COYB ... UTFT .... FTPL !!!

Going to be a tough game as the team affected by suspensions to Branthwaite and Gueye,Dyche may use Seamus Coleman or even Godfrey in the middle of defence with Gana Gueye suspended Dyche may Partner both Garner and Onana in the centre of midfield so hopefully we can come away with a 0-1 away win.
Deucoure with the only goal UTFTs.
Re: Bumley v Everton
Michael Keane could be in contention for Everton’s trip to Burnley, but Ashley Young and Seamus Coleman have been ruled out, while Jarrad Branthwaite and Idrissa Gana Gueye will not be available due to suspension.
The Blues head to Turf Moor on Saturday evening (5.30pm GMT), looking to build on an impressive run that has included consecutive wins over Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and Chelsea.
Centre-back Keane missed out on the matchday squad against Chelsea with a minor knock but resumed full training on Thursday and will be available for selection providing he suffers no reaction ahead of the weekend.
Young was replaced 41 minutes into that 2-0 home victory over Mauricio Pochettino's side and while the issue he sustained is not deemed serious, the clash with Burnley will come too soon.
Seamus Coleman, who missed the visit of Chelsea having being withdrawn on his comeback appearance during the 3-0 victory over Newcastle, is also not available.
Branthwaite and Gana will miss the game, as they serve one-match suspensions after both picking up their fifth yellow cards of the campaign last time out.
There is positive news on Amadou Onana, though, with the Belgium international expected to be fit after overcoming a calf issue to make an appearance off the bench against Chelsea.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, manager Sean Dyche revealed he hopes André Gomes will make the final step of his recovery from a calf injury by completing 90 minutes for Everton Under-21s against West Bromwich Albion on Friday night, but both he and Dele (groin) will not be available for selection.

Re: Bumley v Everton
Branthwaite not being available is a big disadvantage for us. I can see this ending in a draw. Actually, I'd be very pleasantly surprised if we were to win.
Re: Bumley v Everton
Given the past few results we should win, but Burnley need the points more than we do so a draw would be fine with me.

Yeah I'd take a draw now. That's how worried I am about Branthwaite not playing. Just don't let them gain three points on us, I'll have the draw now please, thank you very much.

As stated in the opening commentary
1-4 to the mighty toffees, despite what my tipster will say (too scared to tip us to win there as it always backfires).
Since Bubbles has become a bit of a pussy (he tips us to draw not lose) I feel it my duty to take the negative tipsters on the chin, taking one for the team so to speak.
I will of course expect a substantial remittance rebate & public apology from legal matters

Re: Bumley v Everton
I'm not sure what came over me this week. I'm happily plodding along predicting defeats, whilst the team, obviously not wanting me to win the tipster league, deliberately win!! So instead of going with the momentum, I have a brainstorm and predict a draw!! WTF!!
I accept all the blame if the boys are so confused by this that they lose by mistake this week. I will go back to predicting defeats as soon as possible to restore balance.
I blame old age and a dodgy prostate!!

I by no means expect this to be an easy win, and will assume a draw is the best we can get from it.
Call me "Bubbles Jnr." I suppose.

Re: Bumley v Everton
We beat Newcastle and Chelsea.
Of course we're going to lose to Burnley. 2:0, probably.

Re: Bumley v Everton
Just heard the awful, awful injury news!! Just when things have been looking up we get a kick in the teeth like this. Keane is likely to be fit for Saturday!!!!
The killer blow, not sure we can recover from that. Hopefully it's not long term and there's a dodgy hamstring just around the corner.

It’s really hard not to find myself agreeing with this logic. Hopefully we still get ourselves into good positions but I get the feeling we may be about to see how important Branthwaite is for us.

Off track here, but does anyone know the code for our fantasy premier league?
