We all saw it online and have already concurred with your every word. So, bit of a waste, but appreciated it nonetheless.

Nah, I wish I had gone, mate. If I lived closer I would. Fellaini sounded like he was on fire. I had to make do with Ian Dowie eulogising about him on SSN.
Cheers for the report as well. Disappoiting to hear Gueye faded fast, though.

Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
Closely followed by the annoucement that Super has been named the assistant manager.Bluejags wrote:Super wrote:Mr_Ben wrote:Super were you born in Peterborough (or near by) or just live there due to work commitments etc
Born and lived in Northampton before moving to Nottingham to move in with a mate for a couple of years. Only moved to Peterborough after meeting Lulu.
ps Sef I was joking!!
No he wasnt Sefton. Super has been working behind the scenes with Danny and BB to destabilise the club. Danny has done a twat on the wall documentary where he's infiltrated the club Ultra's (who meet in Brushie's shed on tuesday after Eastenders, except when there is CL football, where they move it to Wednesday lunchtime) and will launch counter measuress to bring down Moyes with innocuous posts which will increase their volatility until WHAMMMM!!! Moyes' position becomes untenable and Danny takes over the hot seat and renames the club The Mean Dead Pimp Running Stingers Factory .
Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
It'll be interesting to see what Moyes takes from the game from that point of view. Would he be willing to give Coleman a go on the flank?Tonteau wrote:treblA wrote:Tonteau wrote:treblA wrote:Tonteau wrote:treblA wrote:some people would have you believe coleman was the next cafu. he can't defend and just gets his head down and runs when he gets the ball. he's not worth a start yet.
How much of him have you actually seen? Hibbo was bigging up his defending the just other day.
i've seen him play for the reserves at widnes a few times, on tv and in person for blackpool at bloomfield road, and i watched the everton appearances on tv - benfica away and spurs at home spring to mind.
so, probably more than most people
Fair dos, although I don't think his half-fit debut, out of position in a hugely weakened side away against a very good attacking team is much to judge him on.
His spurs game was great, he flayed Gareth Bale and his defending was fine as well. Needs to play against huddersfield, really.
yep. ideal game for him.
Got caught out at least twice defensively from the highlights I saw. Think we're best using him as a winger ala Bale. His qualities are clearly much more attacking than defending, but part of a winger's job is getting back and covering in defense and he can do that adequately.

Ah, ok matey. Thanks.
As for this thread, I think we'd better delete it before we all start to believe it lol.
Cheer up chaps. We look ok on the pitch. Goals will come soon.

Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
I feel the same, especially if we start playing with two strikers. We need two because it's too easy for the defence to snuff out any chances and there are not enough bodies in the box when the crosses come in, or the winger has to take the ball back to the midfield which means the defence can regroup (get all players back to defend). We need to play with two strikers.BB wrote:treblA wrote:just to fill you in on suitsblue BB, he was just some racist idiot that got banned off here about 2 years ago.

Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
I dont think the club can afford to sack him, I dont think he would walk away unless the club sold Rodwell behind his back.
Heard another rumour Yobo and Yakubu are going to West Ham and Donovan is coming in.
Suppose it's all rumours, but I cant see any deals being done for Moyes on the last day of a transfer window as any manager would want to get some players in.

Bit worrying that Ladbrokes have stopped taking bets on it, they usually only do that when they get solid information.

Thats why it wouldn't make any sense. Randy has turned the taps off and they have lost their two biggest assets in the last two years in Barry and Milner. And with Harry 'wheeler and dealer' (oh sorry Harry, i didnt mean it like that) waiting to turn the head of Young, Moyes wouldn't get the funds at Villa either to reinvest in the squad straight away. And its unlikely Moyes would do a toys out of the pram like storm out unlike O'Neill.
It just doesn't add up unless.....unless he's had a huge blow out with Kenwright over Rodwell or cash related issues. However would that necessarily mean Moyes would walk straight into the arms of Villa? Just doesn't seem in his character.

Paddy Power has Moyes at 5/4!
Next:
Sven 4/1
Kevin McD 5/1
Bradley 11/1
Hughes 14/1

Wasnt Everton bookies fav at one point to get Craig Bellamy?
Not going to happen, if he did leave in would be for a currently bigger club than Villa.
