Re: Everton - Fulham
78 minutes played and Fulham see the opportunity to throw on some fringe players considering this game is all but done and dusted.
Re: Everton - Fulham
Mykolenko booked for a tackle. Although the Fulham players are asking the ref why it wasn't a red, which would have been very harsh.
Re: Everton - Fulham
Some of the fans are fed up and the camera man is showing people leaving the stadium.
Re: Everton - Fulham
A Fulham player booked for time wasting. Not that they need to do that considering they are in full control.
Re: Everton - Fulham
It's really insane that as things stand, we have scored 24 goals in 31 games, or about 0.77 goals per game. No wonder we are fighting a relegation battle.
Re: Everton - Fulham
This game just might be what gets me over that edge where I finally say "OK, I'm not going to spend a couple of hours of my weekend watching Everton". Sad times indeed.
Granted, like a meth head, I'm probably back next weekend to watch this mess again just in case things are better then....

Re: Everton - Fulham
6 minutes of added time, not that it's going to matter when it comes to the outcome of the game.
Re: Everton - Fulham
We are down 1-3 and we can't really manage to get out of our own half; Fulham are that dominant.
Re: Everton - Fulham
That’s a disaster. We are in massive trouble now.

Re: Everton - Fulham
Three wins in a row for Roy Hodgson's side. Nine points away from danger now.
Southampton are in big trouble and remain bottom, winless in six matches.
And some were mocking Roy. We take it all back.
Re: Everton - Fulham
And Fulham tries to score yet another goal, but then the ref blows for full time. 1-3 final score. Terrible. We continue to be so bad that we can but hope that there are 3 other teams worse than us, which I'm not so sure that's the case.

We are down. No hope, utterly useless

Fulham were nothing special but compared to us they were great. Which really just highlights how poor we are.
Don't want to harp on Maupay, but with a proper striker, those two great chances he had those are two goals.

Keep harping on. He is fucking useless and was an abysmal signing.

At least Southampton and Leicester lost. Foerst have got Man U tomorrow. But I'm clutching at any positives I can think of right now

Unfortunately it's difficult to disagree. Makes me wonder, again, why Simms didn't start. Not that he had any impact when he came on, but still.callmebubbles wrote:Keep harping on. He is fucking useless and was an abysmal signing.
Re: Everton - Fulham
Oh dear.
A catastrophic day of results, not least our own. A day that started with me still thinking we might just get out of the shit before the final day, but ends with us confirmed as one of the 4, maybe 5, teams still very much in the shit. We're back to being one of the three favourites to go down right now IMO.
I had the option to go up there today, my brother couldn't make it and offered me his season tickets. I turned him down, reluctantly (given I thought we'd win today) because we already had a family day out in London planned as part of my youngest lad's birthday celebrations. I think I made the right call.
It was very difficult, walking around the Holocaust exhibition at the Imperial War Museum with my youngest lad muttering comments in my ear about various atrocities he's read about as part of his studies while I'm taking constant sideways looks at the latest scores on my phone. I can't say I was as focused as I should have been on the trauma suffered in the Lodz ghetto but blame Bill fucking Kenwright for that.
So then. Where are we? Palace and Wolves are now cruising to safety. Bournemouth, fuck, give Gary O'Neil the manager of the year award. He took over a car crash very early in the season and has got a limited squad fighting for their lives. There's the difference - we celebrate a home draw with Spurs, they go and win at the Lane. Of course Pep will win manager of the year for his ability to spend £200m better than anyone else. So it goes.
I still think everyone from West Ham down is still in trouble. In fact I don't think Bournemouth are clearly out of the woods yet, although they might only need one more win. Of course we need the Shite and Manure to do us favours over the next couple of days. It's now probably 3 from 7, but realistically 3 from 5. The noose tightens.
So I didn't see the game, but this is the first truly depressing result of the Dyche era and I don't have anything to say that's positive and optimistic. The shadow of that Leicester away game looms over us like a filthy storm cloud.

Re: Everton - Fulham
I had a surprise birthday party to go to here in London, so gave my ticket away. But the party was cancelled at the last minute, so I could have gone after all. All I can say is thank fuck I didn’t race up there.
Not looking great is it?

Nope.
From the top...Palace look more likely to finish above Chelsea than go down. Wolves look fine. Bournemouth probably one win away, they might have cigars on the go at GP final day. West Ham's run-in remains tough but they're picking up points in tough games. They'll be fine.
Leeds are atrocious at the back but look at their current form - they get these wins here and there. I still think they're in trouble but we seriously need Man U to do them tomorrow. The bottom four plus possibly Leeds, that's where it's at now. Any three from five. That Leicester game, fucking hell.
Re: Everton - Fulham
Yep, note that Forest (not Leeds) are playing Man Utd right now and are down 0-1. It needs to stay as a loss for them.Rotterdam 1985 wrote:hairy cataract wrote:I had a surprise birthday party to go to here in London, so gave my ticket away. Ah yes of course, Leeds are playing the Shite tomorrow.
