Have we not had a rearranged date for the Villa game or are we getting the points (0-3 win) for the CoviD breach?

We have played 32 games but the fixture list only has 5 remaining fixtures on it (Villa, WHU, Sheff Utd, Wolves and City). Am I being thick? scratch

No... we have yet to play Villa and by the looks of it we will play sometime in May.... unless it is the Shoite's way of ensuring we don't finish above them

Really not sure why the first Villa game hasn't been formally rearranged already. It looks like the midweek before the last round of games is free, and neither team has any cup commitments.

I'm going for a draw here, as for some reason Villa give me the chills, we seem to struggle against them. Not sure if that's backed up by the history books or not, just my gut feeling.

3-3 is about right but I will go with Mountfield, McMahon and Barry (OG) v Barry, Mountfield (OG), McMahon (OG)

Actually I think we will do’em by the odd goal. Big couple of weeks - wins against Villa and West Ham will be tremendous fillips for the lads.

Annoyingly, they are all winnable games (apart from City). But I don't think we are playing well enough at the moment. Solid at the back but not enough chemistry going forward.

Even being optimistic, I think the best we'll do is 11 points from 6 games.

That's four from Villa, a point against West Ham, beat Sheffield United and Wolves, lose to City's U-18 team on the final day.

That would give us 63 points. Could be enough for 6th. But the way our season has gone we'll lose to Sheffield United and spank City. So who knows?

All I would say is that the Shite have been worse than us against shit teams this season, and Spuds look a bit lost, and have a reasonably tough run-in. And, we're better off injury-wise than we've been for a while.

Top 6 is in our hands. We're sixth if we win our game in hand, we don't need others to drop points. It's just a question of whether we're good enough.

Another factor to consider is goal difference. All the teams above us have a much better GD - the only team we are likely catch in this respect is West Ham (who are +10 v our +4).

I'd like to see Carlo choose his best back 4 and stick with it for the final 6 games. Maybe a rest for the rearranged Villa game?
Keep Allan in his usual role and the remaining 5 in rotation, if necessary.
Time to really show our stuff to prospective signings.
Go for 6th but dream of 4th.
