We'll probably get him back injured.

Doesn't matter. We'll probably loan him out anyway.

Welcome back Tim. I'd have him straight in the starting eleven.

In for Rodwell i'd have thought, he's done very little when he's had the opportunity this season.

I know it's sacrilegious to say but, I'd be given utd, city and the chavs the nod on signing him in the summer.
decent bit of money for a young player with potential, use that money to get in one or two young players who have more experince, say a forward and a winger we would benefit at least in the short term.
I can't see in the long run where Rodwell fits into our team.

moyes has said today on the liverpool echo website, he buys the young players to sell on - which i think is obvious with Rodwell, he or Felliani will go to Utd to fill the void left by Scholes.

I reckon its one of Rodwell or Felliani to go this summer to fund some rebuilding (if Davie stays.) Its a hard one but I reckon Rodwell will probably be sacrificed.

I wouldn't mind selling Rodwell for a good fee. Rodwell is a 'potentially' good player; Fellaini already is one.

I see Rodwell and Fellaini as our future midfield partnership. I'd rather sell Arteta, Jagielka, or Cahill. We have lots of players around the 30 mark. I forsee a bit of a problem if we don't start to bring the young lads in quickly.

Surely Timmy has to start today behind Saha...
Is he fully fit after his round the world jaunt ????

Seen as its gun ho Blackpool we should go 4-4-2 and start Beckford. Keep Cahill in reserve if needed.

If he's 100% I'd play him. But Becks would make a good alternative.

Re: 17: Tim Cahill - Scores (on FIFA XII at least)
I'd prefer to start Tim until he's knackered... circa 65-70 minutes & then bring on Becks to run the tired Donkey defence into the ground...Armchair Evertonian wrote:If he's 100% I'd play him. But Becks would make a good alternative.
Hopefully we can get ahead in the frst hour or so & then Beckford can cause havoc in the last 20..
But can Saha last 90 ??... cause I really don't want to see Ani tripping over her toe nails again

Cahill had other responsibilities to honour. He can't expect to walk straight back in. Especially with both Beckford and Saha showing moments of class at present. Moyes would be crazy to kill the rise of our strikers.

Regardless of Carroll being a cock. What a non-story. I can see one small glass of beer on the table and the Daily Mail has turned into some kind of all night booze-up with whores and bare knuckle fighting.

A great Cameo from Timmy against the City shitehawks this weekend. with him becoming more and more of an injury concern is it time to look to play him primarily as an impact player from the bench and work on making the starting eleven less reliant on him?
I'm thinking in the way that we used Big Dunc in his final couple of seasons as an impact sub and in games where we need that extra impact on the pitch. He'd effectively be our plan B.
at some stage or another he's going to have to cut down his playing time or put less into his play due to his injury problems so is it worth taking the plunge and implementing a change now or wait untill he's done and see if we've can adapt then.
