Re: Tottenham v Everton
Those subs took place after 57 minutes, good to see the changes coming fairly early on the second half.
Re: Tottenham v Everton
McNeil with the pass of the game, he fooking shoots the ball at Lindström knee high from 9-10 yards away, ridiculous.
Re: Tottenham v Everton
That was a header from 5-6 yards out from the corner, Pickford planted on his goal line. Strange to not go for that ball and punch it away.

And here we are. It's ugly.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:This could get really ugly.
Re: Tottenham v Everton
Or as the BBC put it:
GOAL - Tottenham 4-0 Everton
Son Heung-min
It's raining goals!
A terrific run by Micky van de Ven who holds off a couple of challenges before releasing Son Heung-min who takes one touch before finishing low beyond Jordan Pickford.
Men against boys.

Re: Tottenham v Everton
It's really quiet at the stadium, even the home fans can't be excited, it's been too easy.
Re: Tottenham v Everton

I thought that Armstrong showed some glimpses of creativity and composure during the few minutes he was on the pitch. I know, grasping at straws here, but still.callmebubbles wrote:Wow, we are way worse than i thoufht!!! Absolutely fucking shite. Not really any hope of survival. Dire and no positives!!

How did Roman Dixon do?
My lad watched the first 20 minutes, switched the stream off at 2-0 down, put it back on again at the start of the second half (sucker for punishment) and then finally finished with it once the fourth went in. So he watched a good chunk of the game, in sections.
In between times I'm guessing he was probably wondering, if his old man had been born in Barcelona rather than Liverpool, whether he'd have turned out to be an Espanyol fan. He's never actually asked me why I had to inflict this pain on him but sometimes there's this look in his eye, you know?
Anyway he said Dixon did pretty well in obviously difficult circumstances. Didn't look out of place.
