Everton v Bournemouth
The first of three winnable home games (Burnley and Brentford up next, interspersed by Toon and Chavs away). Hopefully the break and training camp in Portugal will have helped.

Re: Everton v Bournemouth

Oh fuck, it's back. That weekend sinking feeling. The last two weekends have been bliss.
Bournemouth 8 (Butlins 3, Pontins 2, Haven 2, Tarko OG) Everton 0.

Good point. Hopefully the team bus knows where it's going tomorrow.

I'm not sure it will make much difference
Re: Everton v Bournemouth
anyway.... Dobbin is out for a few games after turning his ankle while line-dancing to the new Beyonce tunes, so we have fuck all on the bench now, with Danjuma also out, probably until his loan period ends. Luckily, Dyche never uses subs anyway, so it won't really matter. And we have Patterson, still smarting from his clip round the earhole, who can't be any worse as a winger than he is as a full back, so we could always bring him on in the 94th minute when we're five down.

We are really boring to watch. No movement with or without the ball. Bournemouth made us look like a bunch of training ground orange cones at times. Just terrible to watch.

Re: Everton v Bournemouth
Coleman's oggy is the worst football thing I've ever seen in my life.
Don't know what he's thinking. Don't know why Pickford didn't just claim it anyway.
It defies belief.

Re: Everton v Bournemouth
Lack of leadership was on display today gents. Look at the players in the 92nd minute. We have the ball around the Bournemouth's box, but no one dares to take responsibility, rather there are just sideways passes leading to nothing. Players are static, no movement. Coleman (finally) chips the ball into the box but it's easily handled by the defence. Right there summed up the day (season?) for me.
Re: Everton v Bournemouth
Oh, and pretty sure I heard the commentators saying no win in the last 12 PL games. I mean, you would think you'd luck out in one of those games and get a win, right?

truly fucking awful... I'm finding it hard to believe Dyche is still manager to be honestKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:Oh, and pretty sure I heard the commentators saying no win in the last 12 PL games. I mean, you would think you'd luck out in one of those games and get a win, right?

Re: Everton v Bournemouth
The issue is likely that who would in their right mind want to take over as the manager? We are under investigation for a possible second point deduction, play absolutely dreadful football with very little to no natural leaders on the pitch outside of the CBs.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:truly fucking awful... We are in dire straits. The players are being paid money for nothing and we are so far away from playing good football, so why worry?

Yeah, equals a club record of 12 prem games without a win. Have to go back to the 1994-95 season when Mike Walker started the season off with 12 games before we won a game.
Can see this team beating that record on Tuesday.
