Re: 10 - Arnaut Danjuma - 2nd time lucky ?
According to a report I just read, the fucker had actually signed the contract and done an interview kissing the badge and saying "I will do everything I can to prevent Everton getting relegated"!
Supposedly, (on hearing that Frank had been sacked perhaps), he just didn;t send the contract to the FA for ratification, and then got a bid from Spurs.
I'm no lawyer, but as far as I can see, Danjuma, his agent, Levy, Harry Kane, Jimmy Greaves and the fucking cockerel on the Spurs badge should all be banned for life and given five years in the clink, and the Tottenham Hotspur should be relegated to the Vanarama League.

Obviously I have no idea how a football transfer works, but surely we should have been in charge of sending the contracts to the FA and and not left it to the player and his team?
Re: 10 - Arnaut Danjuma - 2nd time lucky ?
I read it was his agent who refused to hand the paperwork over to Everton.

11 minutes of Premier League football for Arnaut Danjuma since rejecting Everton in favour of a move to Tottenham

What a massive bellend. He could be playing a major part in an existential fight for survival, at a cauldron of a stadium, where every win - in fact, every point - is greeted with an outpouring of joy worthy of a cup final but instead the fuckhead can't even get a couple of minutes for a hugely underperforming team whose every game is a flat, disappointing half-arsed run-out for overpaid twats in front of bored to death fans.
Loser.

Would Dyche have played him?

I'm not sure he's the Dyche type, my lad insists he's not.
I'd completely forgotten about this fella until I saw about a million Spuds fans ranting on Twitter about Moura being brought on instead of him on Monday.
Spurs. Where careers go to die.

Spuds used to just amass & kill off midfielders... good to see they are fucking up mercenary twat careers in other positions now too.Rotterdam 1985 wrote:Armchair wrote:Would Dyche have played him?

He made one start for Spuds, one fucking start. When will these fucking idiots realise going to shite clubs like Spuds and Chavski with enormous squads will just kill your chances of playing. Given our lack of real width, I think he would have played quite a bit for us, even under Dyche. Now he will fuck off back to where he came from with bugger all game time.

Kamaldeen Sulemana - another one we didn't sign in January, after he jilted us on deadline day in favour of Southampton - will probably come back into the shop window. Mind you, apart from the two brilliant goals he scored on Sunday against the Shite, I'm not sure what else he's done. But his celebration alone is reason to offer them £10m and Maupay as a makeweight.

I've seen this lad play a couple of times and he gave me Peter Beagrie vibes. Loads of skill and pace but never seems to get his head up when in possession.
It's such a shame that Kudus is probably going to go to a CL club. He's boss, and he'll deffo go somewhere this summer with Ajax missing out on the CL. I've seen United linked with him a lot.

Arnaut Danjuma would be interested in a move to Everton this summer.
Danjuma had been due to sign for the Blues during the January transfer window; however, Tottenham Hotspur hijacked the move, and following a swift round of talks, the winger agreed to move to the capital on loan from Villarreal.
The 26-year-old scored 22 goals and provided four assists in 51 games for the Spanish club, including six strikes in 11 appearances in the Champions League. However, he was deemed surplus to requirements after falling out of favour under Quique Setien.
But the move to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium did not work out for the Netherlands international, who made just 12 appearances, scoring twice, for the North London club. Only one of those appearances was a start.
Villarreal had agreed a £27m buy option with Spurs should they decide to sign him on a permanent basis this summer, but the Premier League club decided against triggering the option they had, meaning Danjuma returned to the Estadi de la Ceramica following the expiry of his loan spell last month.

Looks like this is happening. Setting aside the January fiasco, I'm happy about this. He out-scored Richie at Spurs this season, despite only playing for about ten minutes, he's one of the fastest players in the PL, and he's not averse to a bit of shithousery. Sounds perfect for us. His injury record isn't the best, but nothing to get too worried about hopefully.

Arnaut Danjuma has been linked with a move to AC Milan in the last few days but it seems the Dutchman had decided to join Everton instead. In fact, the latter have reached an agreement with Villarreal.
Milan initially opened talks with Villarreal for Samuel Chukwueze and while that track is still alive, the Danjuma option also emerged during the talks. The Dutchman was believed to be a low-cost solution for the attack, given his versatility.
Just this morning, Gazzetta Dello Sport reported that the Rossoneri were expected to sign Danjuma with a low formula. However, as per Fabrizio Romano, the player has now decided that Evrton is the best move for his career.
Furthermore, as the journalist continues, Villarreal have accepted the bid from Everton which means Milan are out of the race. Most likely, as was highlighted in the Gazzetta Dello Sport report, it’s because the Rossoneri were unsure of the obligation to buy that the Spanish side demanded.
It’s not a huge loss for Milan as Danjuma was never a primary target, but rather a low-cost opportunity on the market. Certainly, they wouldn’t have been able to guarantee a starting spot.

Based on the postings of reporters that I trust, I'm confident this is happening. My assumption is that we're now into that cycle whereby Everton, alone amongst professional sporting entities, take 4 or 5 days to put the promotional "welcome" bideo together. My guess is that Trevor the video guy is on the lash in Magalluf with his mates for a week and nobody else has a key to the video edit suite. Thinking about it, Trevor the video guy seems to go on the lash quite a lot.
Personally I'd settle for a one-line "done deal" message on the OS. I don't actually need to see a vid of Danjuma (sheepishly, in the light of what happened last year) kissing the badge. Like, I wouldn't think any less of the club if they didn't go to the trouble of putting a video together. Just fucking tell us, quickly, you bastards. For our mental health. Remember those back-to-back relegation battles you twats? Yeah so just fucking announce it.
Sorry to labour the point here but has any Evertonian ever uttered words like "great that we've signed Lukaku but I thought the welcome vid was really poor, the lighting wasn't great and the whole vibe generally felt a bit off. Has taken the gloss off of the deal for me TBH."
