Fleetwod Mac v Everton
I've only just realised we are playing tonight. We should be this lot so I might even watch it.

I've also just realised that I had no idea where Fleetwood is. Google has educated me.

It's only Fleetwood, but we're knocking it about pretty well.

bit hit and miss but a good picture
Re: Fleetwod Mac v Everton
How's Onana doing? Comments about him on Twitter are wildly mixed to say the least.

Hit and miss describes his passing quite well. His tackling looks good, but everything else not great.

So he's not the bastard love child of Patrick Vieira and Colin Harvey after all? Bah.

He literally just passed the ball out of play a second ago. It's like he sees two players and kind of hits it between them in the hope that if the pass is a bit off, it will go to one of them.
Re: Fleetwod Mac v Everton
Apparently McNeil has been on the pitch all game. Has anyone seen him?

I feel sorry for the Fleetwood fans - expecting to see a Premier League team but having to watch us instead
Oh well, job done. No injuries (apart from Tom Davies in the warm up). Rondon put in a shift so will need several weeks to recover. Iwobi good.

Easy! The mighty Fleetwood are slain.
Iwobi MOTM for me, but honourable mentions to Warrington, who looked tidy when he came on, Gray for being by far our most dangerous player, and Onana. The big man can't really pick a pass but he can tackle, and he went on a lovely mazy run near the end. Above all, he was kicked from pillar to fucking post but didn't come off, so he's a tough nut. I think it'll take him a while, and take Lampard a while to work out how to get the best from him, but he's going to be a fan favourite.
McNeil and Rondon both looked at home playing League 1 opponents, if slightly out of their depth. And we're supposed to believe our lot could be trusted to spend £60m Gordon money. Jesus.

Don't worry, we won't spend any of the Gordon money. It will be a Rooney-esque Sky Sports News Transfer Deadline Day Vinegar Strokes of a sale. "Sorry lads, didn't have time to spend it."
So, Onana is Carlton Palmer then?

He does have something of Carlton about him, yes. But with a hint of Pogba and a dash of Jimi Hendrix kind of thing
