Everton V W
Everton V Watford at Goodison Park. k/o 19.45 Tueday 29th October 2019
EFL Cup. 4th round.
A long term knee Injury to Bernard, will keep him out this Cup game, whilst defensive Midfielder Gbamin is weeks away from returning.
Everton Manager Marco Silva is under great pressure to turn results around after yet another defeat on Saturday away at Brighton.
Silva's tactics to leave a Striker Moise Kean on the bench and bring on a defensive Midfielder in Fabian Delph, hasn't gone down well with the Everton faithful,
Can Marco Silva survive next game which is against his old Club Watford? the Irony that should he lose, he could be sacked.
Some times I wish we could sack players just as quickly as we sack Managers.

Re: Everton V W
Not a great half. We are so short on confidence and bereft of ideas going forward. We still haven't figured out how to open up those teams that sit deep and Goodison.
Passing has been all over the place so far tonight, particularly Gomes and Iwobi again.
Watford look poor, but we're always capable of gifting a goal, so an improved second half needed.
Kean looks like he's struggling. Maybe due to the poor service, or maybe he's trying to hard, but it would be nice to see some more encouraging signs.
The main positive was Mina and Holgate look good together. Unfortunately Mina has gone of injured again and Bambi Keane is on.
Lets hope for an improved second half.

Re: Everton V W
Dreadful for 60 minutes, but finally upped the tempo and got a deserved goal. Iwobi and Holgate have both been decent. Looks like Silva might live to fight another day.
Re: Everton V W
Holgate has been great these last games. Makes you wonder what the fuck he has been doing on loan, when he's clearly as good as the others already, with bags of potential. Deserved his goal.
Iwobi has improved second half, but they've given us a lot more space.
Surely we can hold on.

Decent 2nd half. Nice finish Richarlison. Treading water until January. Oxford or Colchester at home, please!

Re: Everton V W
I got to watch the last 25 minutes, and we were well on top during that entire time.
Great to see Holgate score his first ever Everton first team goal. You could tell how happy his teammates were as well! Awesome!
We were given a lot of space and time on the ball during the last 25 minutes that I watched. I was actually surprised as to how poor Watford were, they were simply dire. Lacked desire and skill, not a good combination.
An easy QF would do us good....

Re: Everton V W
Any reason WHY? The draw was on radio 2 With Zoe Ball?
Everton come out of the next round with worse possible draw.
United-City-Shite, all kept apart with easier games.
Corruption I tell you.
Now Clipperty wants the Villa tie moved, to accommodate the red-shite fixtures.

To be fair... recognising that we have to face each or all of them to win... would prefer Leicester over City or the Shoite to progress... us against a minnow... the minnow has a decent chance at the moment
I think we can beat Leicester at home.... and would love Man U over two legs...

Balls in the fridge.
The draw was like choosing them behind your back.
Trying to upgrade the competition.
Can the Shyte field their Academy team?
