Arsenal v Everton
Who cares?
I suspect we'll give some of the lads a well-earned rest. 7-0 to Arsenal.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
It's so boring when we have nothing to play for.
11-3 to Arsenal. Tosun hat-trick.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
a draw takes us above Saints & we finish 15th... what was all the fuss about
2-2 Arteta with all 4 goals

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Could go either way, but my guess is 6-0 to the Arse, after we drop all the big names and give debuts to our youngest ever first team players - Ellie and Lilly Coleman at right and left back.
Re: Arsenal v Everton
I know Arsenal haven't got much chance of 4th, but isn't this line up just a bit disrespectful to Spurs?
Also, Begovic captain? Why? Because he's so fucking old? Who's the left back by the way - Kenny? Also, why not make Kenny captain - I'm guessing this will be his last appearance for us?

3 at the back with Kenny and Iwobi as the wingbacks?

Injured. Last season with an ice pack on his thigh after Thursday's game.

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Fun day. I paid no attention to our game. Twice now in four days, I've made money by betting on a team to come back to win from 2 down. :-)
Re: Arsenal v Everton
What a fantastic result. At 0-2 the red fuckwits must have been creaming themselves. Would have loved to be in the Kopshite end as City clawed it back. All those tears ! Hahahaha , would have laughed my arse off

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Can you even begin to imagine what it was like when they scored their second only to hear that City had just scored their third. Oh happy days!
Weird not to give a fuck what happened in an Everton game, though it does show just how shit we are. Mind you, was that five games in two weeks or something?

Re: Arsenal v Everton
Barely gave a shit about our result. One look at the line up and it was obvious we were gonna get our arses kicked. Was glued to the City game. Fucking brilliant!! Just need Madrid to cause a surprise and the Shite will have had a crap end to the season.

If they win the CL, the media will all be "oh even though they missed out on a unique quadruple, it was a great season" etc, when everyone knows that they're really fucking disappointed.
That's life Jurgen, when you fall short of your goal, it doesn't matter how well you did, you failed. Our goal was to stay up, so this season actually ended up in success for us!

Klopp couldn't help himself - he had a pop at the Wolves fans after the game for the heinous crime of cheering every time they heard that City had scored. He couldn't keep that to himself, couldn't just bite his lip.
Actually, don't bite your lip Jurgen, you could do yourself some serious damage.
City have won another title but their hearts are heavy because they fucked up the CL again. Liverpool could end the season with three cups including the CL but they won't be happy because the one they really want - the title to take them level with United - has eluded them.
Such is life at the top of modern football - success has to be both permanent and precise, tailored to their exact specifications, otherwise they'll genuinely be unhappy with a fourth title in five years, or only two cups in the same season. And even then, those tailored successes are only meeting expectations. Thursday was so fucking unexpected that it felt like we'd won the lottery, and City and Liverpool simply can't replicate that feeling at the moment, no matter how many trophy emojis they put in their social media bios.
