Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
And that's the end of the first half. That goal could truly be a very crucial one for the game and maybe even the season!
Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
really poor half... only Richie, Pickford & DCL showing any real ability
at least we are somehow level.
Half time teamtalk badly needed here

and by the way... this is yet another game where James is totally anonymous.... he should be our pivotal star player... what has happened to him ?

Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
He'll have a fab 30 minutes, lay on 2 goals and be subbed for Holgate, as we hold on to a 3-1 win and piss off the commentators.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:and by the way... this is yet another game where James is totally anonymous.... he should be our pivotal star player... what has happened to him ?
Meanwhile Allen, Doucoure and Gomez will learn how to pass, and we'll all be merry and bright.

Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
The play shouldn't go through Allan, it should go through James when attacking.
Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
Pickford being a twat again

Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
If Burnley were to score, there is no way we'll win this game, just saying.
Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
Speaking of Pickford, questionable the way he approached that corner but the ref blows for a slight foul on Pickford.
Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
Burnley in no hurry to get the play restarted on throw ins and free kicks.
Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
With Southgate in the stands, I know which goalie would be my number one with Pickford currently being one and Pope number 2. I'd have Pope well above Pickie.
Re: Burnley - The Mighty Toffees
I think Pickfors is a better shot stopper, but Pope isn't unstable in the fooking head... so I'd possibly agreeKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:With Southgate in the stands, I know which goalie would be my number one with Pickford currently being one and Pope number 2. I'd have Pope well above Pickie.

Roger: Pickford used to be safe as a house, right now he resembles a windblown shack out in the desert.
