Everton vs Sunderland
Just three games left in a disappointing season but on the plus side at least we're not Sunderland. This Saturday lunch time they'll visit Goodison fighting for their Premier League lives.
Sunderland will take some heart from beating Southampton over the weekend, but does their manager have nice brown shoes? Of course he doesn't! Sunderland really aren't very good but will be pretty desperate. I anticipate an awful scrappy game, but one where we eventually emerge 2-1 winners with McCarthy and Mirallas scoring for us. Kevin Phillips will score for them.
As the Match Thread winner of the 2013/14 season I am in need of a boost. The start of the season was shocking. A draw against Leicester and a spectacular collapse against Arsenal, followed by a humbling against Chelsea meant I only gained two Match Thread points from those opening fixtures. A successful reign of snitching means I am two wins and a draw away from reclaiming the trophy. A successful run-in yielding seven points or more would represent a victory for tell-tales, grasses and weasels everywhere. COYB!

3-0 to sunderland, Kone to get a hattrick. Jags to refer to the result as a wake up call
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
3-4
Game of the season. Killer Kilbane with all 7. He swap sides at HT as Martinez cancels his Contract and he joins Sunderland straight away.

Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Remember, Sunderland will move quickly for 40 minutes and then spend the rest of the match watching everyone else.

Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Good to see Osman back in the team. Give us a bit more control on the ball in final third. Hopefully that cnut Cattermole gets sent off after 5 mins.
Everton XI: Howard, Coleman, Baines, Stones, Jagielka, McCarthy, Barry, Lennon, Barkley, Osman, Lukaku.
Sunderland XI: Pantilimon, Jones, Van Aanholt, Brown, Coates, Larsson, Cattermole, Gomez, Defoe, Wickham, Graham.

Re: Everton vs Sunderland
I hope the game itself is brought to us by the new 2016 RAM Heavy Duty truck. Now with a 12 liter diesel engine getting 7 miles to the gallon (best in class).Bluejagz wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:5:45AM my time, and on NBCSN, so it'll be an internet feed for me then.mindyerho? wrote:early morning tomorrow 6:45am ko.

Quite a few little flick ons from us early on, trying to get the ball moving since Sunderland are defending deep and compact.
