When I say flick ons, I don't mean with the head, rather with the feet.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Quite a few little flick ons from us early on, trying to get the ball moving since Sunderland are defending deep and compact.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Good attack with good movement in the box, ends with Osman shooting wide as he falls backwards.

Re: Everton vs Sunderland
First corner of the game falls to us. We are well on top but it's also a case of Sunderland not wanting to lose this game so they are defending deep. It's somewhat comparable to when we played Utd.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Osman with a nice move but the shot is sooooo kitten soft. Again he lost his balance as he took the shot. Needs to have a look at the cleats then Ossie.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Currently raining and snow expected tonight in Denver. Spring time not quite here yet.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
We tend to have a hard time with throw ins deep in to our half. Barry generally gets the ball then and tends to lose it, creating chances for the opposition. Just happened again there; came to nothing thankfully.

And he has a new pair of boots on.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Osman with a nice move but the shot is sooooo kitten soft. Again he lost his balance as he took the shot. Needs to have a look at the cleats then Ossie.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Both teams are overhitting crosses, frustrating the players who have made it in to the box.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
We are leaving too much room outside the box. Defoe gets a chance and he blasts a shot from 20 yards out, but it hits a team mate in the back and out for a goal kick. He hit that shot with some serious pace.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Wickham with a shot now. Again from just outside the box. Need to close them down faster.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Morning all. Those dogs are distracting.... (Not mine, the ones on the video signage)

Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Osman has a new pair of boots on but he again slips when he shoots. Not sure what's going on with him and his boots.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Sunderland have their hearts set on messing with Stones. Another tackle, another freekick.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Wick ham is a real pub team striker. Works hard though

Re: Everton vs Sunderland
Baines takes a corner and has a chit chat with a young fan in the stands before taking it.
Re: Everton vs Sunderland
This part of the game is brought to us by Mercury Insurance.
Note, I am not making these up.
