Everton vs Man City
Following a late equaliser against the spammers, we now take on the Champions with hopefully a spring in our step.
I think we'll start brightly and get an early goal. They'll equalise of course, but I'm happy for my run to continue with a draw.
1-1 Luka to add to his recent heroics.

Re: Everton vs Man City
We've turned a corner. I wouldn't be at all surprised if we walloped this City shower by a clear four goals.
Phenomenal. Absolutely phenomenal.

Re: Everton vs Man City
Most of us are old enough to remember the mid week league Cup away to Oxford United at the Manor Ground, a pivotal moment in Our History,
one mistake late in the game was all Everton's Adrian Heath needed to square the tie and a new dawn started at Goodison in the 80's.
Can lightening strike twice in Our History to dig us out of yet another relegation battle? Lukaku's Injury time equaliser gives us a fighting chance provided the rest of the players step up.
Saturdays game against Champions Man City at home, is a difficult game at the best of times, Hopefully both Leighton Baines & James McCarthy will be fit,
Martinez needs to drop Gareth Barry,Both McCarthy & Besic is the way forward for are defensive midfield, leaving Naismith behind the two strikers of Lukaku & Eto'o
With Sylvan Distin picking up a muscle injury expect John Stones to start.
Team.
Robles-Baines-Jagielka-Stones-Coleman-McCarthy-Barry/Besic-Mirallas-Naismith-Lukaku-Eto'o
Griffiths-Oviedo-Browning-Barry/Besic-Garbutt-Kone-
predict 2-1 Coybb's

Re: Everton vs Man City
Not meaning to be too negative... but are we really not expecting Citeh with all their attacking resources not to score against Billy fucking Joel....
I think we'll score... but Joel will throw in a few & we'll be dogshit for their (and our) corners.
1-4 for me... unfortunately

We'll get stuffed, for sure. Hopefully it won't dent our already low confidence too much and we can carry the positives from last night into the cup replay.

I am not confident for this one at all. I would happily take a 5-0 walloping now. Lukaku, naisy 2 each and Coleman

Re: Everton vs Man City
Got to get the first goal. City score first and they will pick us apart. This could be a real defining day for the Martinez philosophy. Get destroyed and its hard to know what he can say. The players hasn't the form or confidence to place his type of game. Time for a bit of blood and thunder. Give the crowd something to sink their teeth into.
1-1
1-1

Game in doubt according to the BBC. A few turnstiles haven't been opened due to some flapping roof apparently.

A postponement would be a good thing.

Well no Toure, Kompany or Aguero starting for City so not the worst time to play them. Mangala looks shite too so maybe Lukaku can leather in to him a bit. To be honest, id rather we play a big team today. They all come to play so maybe we can get some space in behind them.
