Man City 2 Everton 0
OK, it is this bunch of over paid rent boys turn to get thrashed at Goodison. I can see us getting a very big score here and we will be laughing at Shitteh for a whole month. I am going for a 567-1 win for the Mighty Blues of Everton and Moyes will knock out Mancini on the touchline and shove his scarf up his arse.
That pug ugly fucker Tevez has never scored against the Mighty Everton defense and he isn't going to start this weekend. That Aguero chap makes fucking Andy Carroll look a bargain and that dickhead Balotelli looks like he had got a little fanny growing on his head so he will do fuck all.
I expect Owen Hargreve's wheelchair to get stuck in the Goodison mud where he will sink never to be seen again. That Klingon bastard Lescott will be called back by his mother ship at half time and will have to be replaced by that smackhead Coco-Kolo Toure. Gareth Barry is just plain wank.
WHO THE FUCK ARE MANC SHITTEH ANYWAY???

We can't carry on playing shit and winning, so this time we will play brilliantly and lose 0-4.

As long as our goal difference doesn't take too much of a pasting, I'll be happy.

Re: Man City 2 Everton 0
Right at least one of the following will happen.
1. Aguero to score
2.A really bad, crunching tackle on one of our players.
3.A Pen
4.A Sending off
5.Moyes argues with an official
6.Commentator to mention ' Dzeko really has settled '
7.Everton's best chances to come from a set piece

Re: Man City 2 Everton 0
Too true. Having said that, Fulham managed to get back from a 0-2 hole, granted that was at home, but still. Stopping Silva and Aguero will be difficult, but we have to otherwise it might get ugly.FEED THE STRAQ wrote:i would be happy with a draw, this is a totally different city team than we beat last season

Re: Man City 2 Everton 0
If we use Neville or Heintinga to closely man-mark Silva Mancini will take him off to save him. Worked for Fulham (though they were 0-2 down by then)
so 2-2
so 2-2

We need to bring back Lee Carsley for this one game.
Re: Man City 2 Everton 0
I kind of fancy a 2-2 draw. We won't lie down, it could be 3-2 them. Any win is what we want. A draw is better performance against us recently. We are a thorn in their sides, I still fancy a win. Moyes wants this... so he may be more aggressive than normal.

I am on the beer from 12:00 with my brother (Newcastle fan) and a good mate from Manchester who is a City fan and I have given him so much abuse
esp last season when we won 2-1 at there place (he missed the goals due to taking a phone call but thanks to SKY Plus it kept me going for a few hours after the game showing him) I will never hear the end of it if we lose badly please lads....2-1 Blues....you can stick Tevez and his I will pocket £250k a week while I moan and what to be back with the Argies all you want...give me Hibbo any day!

He was a football analyst on NewsTalk (Ireland) for the Man U v Chelsea game at the weekend. He was terrible

Just repeated everything the commentator said in an inaudible girly accident, getting slightly muddled most of the time...

Lawro
Now I'm even more confident we will win 0-2
Everton didn't have the luxury, unlike City, of resting most of their main players in the Carling Cup.
I know the Toffees traditionally have a good record at City, but with the vast array of talent at Roberto Mancini's disposal it will be tough for David Moyes and his team.
Prediction: 2-0
Now I'm even more confident we will win 0-2

BBC MATCH PREVIEW
COYB
In days of olde, King John's rich noblemen used to ride through Sherwood Forest petrified that they would be robbed and humbled by a shadowy figure clad in green - the champion of the poor - none other than Robin Hood.
These days, football's moneyed elite tread with equal trepidation as they fear a good old gubbing from those infamous merry men dressed in blue - Everton!
There's nothing proud Evertonians would love more than to rob the rich and leaving them squealing like Maid Marian.
Not only do Everton have a better recent record than any other Premier League club against money-bags Chelsea - they are also well accustomed to stuffing mega-bucks Manchester City, who should be wary going into Saturday's early kick-off.
So, test your football knowledge with these six brain teasers - answers below!
Q1: Who was the last team to score a home win against Manchester City?
Q2: Who was the last team to score an away win against Manchester City?
Q3: Who were the only side to do the double over City last season? Here's a clue - they did it the season before as well.
Q4: Which side has won all of their last four visits to Eastlands?
Q5: Which side has won seven of their last eight games against Manchester City?
Q6: Who is 5-2 ON to win Saturday's game?
Answers: Q1 - Everton. Q2 - Everton. Q3 - Everton. Q4 - Everton. Q5 - Everton. Q6 - Man City.

Funny thing is that most Evertonians are talking about this game being the first real test of where we are this season, but in fact it's Man Citteh's first big test. We always beat them, so - if they really are to be contenders this season - they need to give us a good pasting. Hopefully the Citteh players and Mancini will be aware of that and bottle it.
0-1 to the Mighty Blues.
