Re: Everton vs Arsenal
Mirallas just barely misses Lukaku with his pass or Lukaku would have had a shot some 8 yards out.
Re: Everton vs Arsenal
Arsenal are getting worse. Haven't really threatened the goal bar Coleman's mistake. If Mirallas and Lukaku were sharper we could be a few up.

The angle shows him leaning into an offside position but watch his feet. Looks level with Debuchy?

Re: Everton vs Arsenal
Nevermind the offside, the link up between Nais and Luka for the second goal was sublime. Luka seemed to look one way and pass the other.
As Bluejagz said, we looked much better when we were counter-attacking after we took the lead. Be interesting to see if Bobby starts playing a bit more like the Shite do, short bursts of pressing then sitting off and waiting for a counter attack. With Luka, Mirallas and Nais we definitely have the players to do it.

Just suits the players available. Only Ossie can be that link man in the hole but doesn't have pace to get around the pitch like Barkley can, so against the bigger teams this should be successful. I worry when we play lesser teams who defend deep. We will find it tough to break them down. Arsenal affording us space and time on the ball, which is giving us more confidence and encouragement. Wenger may start blaming linesmen again, but tactically he is being shown up again.

Yes, this is just like last season - like you say, we struggle to break team down when they sit deep, but the likes of Arsenal can play into Bobby's hands. Really hope we don't fuck it up though, Arsenal have got some great players. We need to take advantage of Chambers at the back - he's shown his inexperience today - and get a third to finish them off.

Former Everton striker Gary Lineker: Özil's not exactly relishing chasing Coleman's incessant runs. Eyes might just pop out.

Right, have to bring the daughter around the block on her bike for next half hour. Don't fuck it up Everton!
