Dunno... I have visions of him wasting away to skin and bone.
If he's had it for 3 months then it can't just be tiredness. I wonder if anyone has suggested going to bed and sleeping at night?

What the heck is going on with him?
I should try this with my employer. "Boss, still really tired, you know. I better stay home for another couple of months with full pay."

played well when he's been available, but this is ludicrous & has to place him in the ever growing shit Robbie signing category

When he's played and been fit, he's looked pretty good. But if your muscles tire so badly after a few games of togger that you can't play for a month, perhaps you shouldn't be a professional footballer.

oh Joy.... Â Â Alcaraz is fit again and all his injury worries are behind him... Â Â
can a 31 year old injury riddled defender thrive in the premiership? Â Â
Actually, this would be funny if it wasn't so bloody annoying

Roberto Martinez believes Antolin Alcaraz is finally over the injury hell that has blighted his Everton career.
The 31-year-old has played just four times for the Blues since following Martinez from Wigan Athletic in the summer.

The Paraguay international has suffered two further setbacks but is expected to be back in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Chelsea.
Alcaraz recovered from his groin injury to face Southampton just after Christmas but was then struck by muscle fatigue after playing three games in a week.
The defender spent nearly a month of the sidelines but was brought back in time for the derby at Anfield – only for fatigue to hit again.
Alcaraz was plagued by injury last season as well but Martinez is confident there is no long-term fitness issues with the centre-half. However, the Blues boss admits they will have to handle Alcaraz with care to ensure he avoids further time on the treatment table.

I still have a suspicion that Alky and Cone-head were part of the compensation to Wheligan. You can have Martinez and McCarthy if you take these two sick-notes as well.

the problem is... can he stay fit & stop breaking every time he gets a small knock or being 'fatigued' after a 200 metres sprint

I initially felt the same way. He came up and got some headers in off corners and I thought "Holy crap, he could be a threat from corners". However, I feel his positional sense is not that good. Not just the placement, but more so when to take on the attacker and when to back off and rely on help from your back line. He seemed to make the wrong decision too frequently to be considered a top center back.Made 4 Gwladys wrote:you know what.. Antolin Alcaraz faces a long spell on the sidelines after suffering a shoulder injury in Everton's goalless draw with Swansea City.
The Paraguayan defender was forced to leave the field in the 32nd minute on Saturday after coming off worse in a collision with visiting striker Wilfried Bony.
And manager Roberto Martinez confirmed after the final whistle that Alcaraz, whose start to life at Goodison Park was hampered by a groin injury last season, was set for a lengthy lay-off.

Hmmm. Does this mean Robles is our number 2 goalkeeper again?

Antolin Alcaraz: Everton defender suffers dislocated shoulder.
Everton defender Antolin Alcaraz faces around six to 12 weeks on the sidelines after dislocating his shoulder in Saturday's goalless draw with Swansea.
The Paraguay international, 32, was hurt in a challenge with Wilfried Bony.
Manager Roberto Martinez confirmed the extent of the injury on Wednesday, adding "there is a decision to be made" on whether surgery is required.
Alcaraz followed Martinez from Wigan to Everton in summer 2013 but missed most of last season because of injuries.
