Re: 22: Steven Pienaar - Back where he belongs
Guardian
"Saha to Spurs is done. A surprise move from Harry Redknapp but could be the lift, and the team, the French striker needs. Jelavic to Everton must be close." Talking of which ... "Do you think Spurs have signed Saha to keep Ledley King company in the treatment room," writes Steven Fanning. "This could be 'Arry's famous man-management skills at work."

This part of Harry's fine?
If Moyes can do that switch then he definitely is a genius.

Re: 22: Steven Pienaar - Back where he belongs
a very strange move, but if we get him off wage bill and replace him a good move by moyes
The ECHO understands Moyes will use the potential cash freed-up by removing Saha from the pay-roll to bolster a move for another loan signing.

I heard 18 months on the radio earlier.
Is there a transfer fee involved or are we cutting our losses to save on wages?

Graeme Sharp on Newstalk Ireland now:
"Everyone at GP surprised Saha is been courted by Tottenham and perhaps not a lower PL club"
"Jelavic to be paraded before or at HT tonight. Moyes has been following Jelavic closely for a few seasons."

2206: Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says Spurs have agreed a deal with Everton for striker Louis Saha and "thinks it is all sorted". Redknapp added: "He is sharp and he has got good movement".

I don't know who the fuck Harry is talking about there, but I wonder what he thinks of Louis Saha?

2212: More news from Tottenham. Lots of it. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp says he tried to sign Juventus winger Milos Krasic this week but he only wanted the Serbia international on loan and the Italian side were only interested in a permanent deal. Redknapp also says he could not let Steven Pienaar goes back to Everton because he has too many injuries and has revealed that Wolves want to sign Sebastien Bassong but he will need to complete a deal for an unnamed defender before he lets that one go through
Fuck off Harry. I think we say that we want Pienaar or no deal for Saha. Let's play hardball with Twitchy.

Re: 22: Steven Pienaar - Back where he belongs
Saha would be patting himself on the back if it wasn't for the fact that he'd probably injure himself if he did.
It'll be like old times for Spurs though, remember Darren Anderton? Anyway, now Harry's got Louis to keep the bench warm, he can give us Pienaar back.

FUcking hilarious, he has too many injuries so he signs Saha! It'll be like musical fucking chairs on the sick beds at Spurs.

Read that as well. Did Moyes send him a youtube video from 2-3 years ago?Armchair Evertonian wrote:2206: Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says Spurs have agreed a deal with Everton for striker Louis Saha and "thinks it is all sorted". Redknapp added: "He is sharp and he has got good movement".
