Everton v West Ham United
2 games without a loss, so I will continue, with your blessing.
Last year we sang God Save The King for the first and only time. We saw Maupay score for the first and only time.
This year is more confused. We're happy to have just a 6 point deduction, but uncertainty about another kick in the orchids. Now the PL 10 point deduction looks vindictive. It must have a negative effect on the other teams fighting for PL survival. This could be Luton's one and only season in the PL, and if I were them, I'd be craving for at least one more. I hope they do get one more season, but not at our expense.
How this affects the Blues and the crowd's psychology is set before us at 3pm. Can we keep digging deep into the Blue Flare games, and the triple wins of the puce Corrupt signs. The crowd have to dig deep again and let the team know the fight against such vindictiveness continues. As a club we're really good at that, and as a city we're brilliant.
So to the game. Branthwaite v Bowen is a big one. Declan Rice has moved on. Their form is all over the place, and they leak goals if pressured. When the season began, we were thinking about 2 wide men banging in crosses for DCL. We'll moyder the lot of 'em. Not seen it so far.
This has to be the new beginning.
COYBs to you all.

Re: Everton v West Ham United
Possibly no Onana and no Gana, big problems in midfield. Doucoure + Garner + someone out of position. Please not Young. It only takes a couple of injuries and we are down to the bare bones. If only we had some youngsters who could step up, but Dyche clearly doesn't view our kids in the way Klopp views his, and more than likely he's right.
Hard to see three points for us here, but if we get really lucky, the Hammers have an off day, and the gods smile on us, maybe we could sneak it with a Doucoure special? I travel in hope.

I believe we will have enough to beat West Ham,DCL and Beto have to get on the score sheet soon,
Hoping Dobbin gets a fair crack of the whip and starts.3 points very much needed.
Going for a toffees win 2-0 DCL and Doucoure to get on the score sheet
UTFTs.

I'm not quite this pessimistic, but it does all depend on having one of Gueye or Onana available. Duke doesn't have their positional discipline and we lose his contribution further forward. If they're both out then I reckon it'll be Harrison behind the striker and Young on the flank.
Jesus our squad is tiny, isn't it? A bit like a couple of Sunday league teams I played for that only ever seemed to have 11 players registered. Can't be long before Dyche starts playing ringers. "If you get booked, your name's Amadou, OK? Amadou."
West Ham won in midweek and have a fully-fit squad, which is all a bit wank really. I still think they're vulnerable to a scrappy Branthwaite winner off his cock in the 87th minute though. They're hot and cold, and have been mostly cold recently.
I'm going for a 2-2 draw. Harrison and Branthwaite (off his cock) for us, Kriss Akabusi and Alf Garnett for the Irons. Alfred Hitchcock was a Hammer, by all accounts. Don't see him scoring tomorrow though.

Not the worst penalty I've ever seen in fairness, just a decent save. Maybe Beto telegraphed it a bit, dunno.

Oh I knew he'd miss. But this is where we're at - I'm genuinely relieved it wasn't an embarrassing shocker of a pen.
Re: Everton v West Ham United
Beto would be a good choice to take a penalty if the aim was to muscle it into the net... or head it in from the spot..Rotterdam 1985 wrote:Made 4 Gwladys wrote:as soon as he went to take it I knew he'd miss the fucker.Rotterdam 1985 wrote:Made 4 Gwladys wrote:couldn't fucking make it up... why do we have so many shit strikers in the last 5 years

A more technical player would be a better choice and there were, well probably ten... better technical players available to take it than him
fucking raging ... we'll lose this now won't we?

Dunno. I just think all strikers should be willing to take that responsibility, so it was good that he stepped up. I agree though, I'd like to have seen him drill the fucker in rather than place it.
Yes, we'll probably lose now. Although we've had more possession so far, according to my stats site. Must be the first time this season I've seen that. Moyes and Dyche really are tribute acts to each other.

Why? Dyche had to take off Beto god knows, we fell apart when DCL and Gomes came off
Poor substitutions by a very poor Manager.
Depressing is all I can say.

Re: Everton v West Ham United
the best chance we have of getting more points is to lodge another appeal & try & get some of the six stolen points back
