Oh well. I'd rather lose this than a league game at the moment.

bollocks... oh well we would have lost to the shite wouldn't we... so it saved us that pain.
Whoever picks up the match thread has 4 straight wins to beat
Well played Everton .. unlucky
Premier league is more important

Re: Everton v Fulham
I hope Onana doesn't get any ridiculous shit/racism on social media for that. You know what English football fans can be like when black players miss penalties.
That said, I'm tempted to apply my criticisms of Kompany to Onana on this occasion - that he's probably already thinking about his next landing spot and is therefore less invested in the Everton project than others and is using his current role to simply pose. That was a penalty for Instagram if ever I saw one.
Ah well, back to the grind, the dream was nice while it lasted. But how fucking hard can it be to win a Cup, eh? We used to be pretty good at them when I were a lad. We didn't win that many, but we reached semi finals galore. That was our chance, with City and Arsenal gone.
I'll console myself by convincing myself that a two legged semi final would have been more than our threadbare squad could cope with. I'll imagine, until I actually start believing it, DCL, Garner and Branthwaite all getting carried off with season-enders prior to our penalty shoot out exit to Boro.

Onana’s pen was a shocker. Hope he apologises for that and learns from it - a pen to take your team into the semi final of a cup and you do that. Shameful.

Yep, at least blast it high and wide. And as for going out to Liverpool. FFS, we need to be a bit bigger than that. If it has to be them, it has to be them at least they’re one of the top teams in the league rather than an ok Fulham side we should have beaten.
