Sheffield United v Everton
Another opportunity for our players to lower their market price ahead of the opening of the transfer window.
Hopefully we'll see some of our youngsters play. It would be good to see Kean get 90 minutes and perhaps Branthwaite at CB.
2-0 to SU, Jags and Lundstrum.

Re: Sheffield United v Everton
Five changes to tonight's line-up,Moise Kean starts up front with Richarlison instead of Calvin Lewin, Braithwaite keeps his place with Michael Keane as a partnership, both Gomes and Sigurdsson maintain the defensive midfield with Tom Davies being dropped ,Theo Walcott takes to the wing while Anthony Gordon replaces Bernard. Seamus Coleman at Right-Back with Digne at left-Back.
Going for a 2-0 away win.

Too many sloppy passes but more effort than the last few games.

Re: Sheffield United v Everton
We look better balanced playing this system. More bodies in midfield and more pace on the wings.

Seems like we are under pressure but holding on in the dying minutes of the game.
Re: Sheffield United v Everton
CLOSE!
Sheffield United 0-1 Everton
The ball bounces through to David McGoldrick in the box but he loses his footing and skews it!
Re: Sheffield United v Everton
Well, not exactly a vintage performance but solid enough. Some sloppy passes but everyone played better than the previous few games and we looked much better in midfield. Siggy was ok - put in a shift - and Gomes played some nice passes.

Re: Sheffield United v Everton
Have to say the first half was dire, second half we came out with more energy, both Sigurdsson and Davies were poor, Yes, Siggy contributed to the goal from a set piece, but, Ricky did all the hard work.
Walcott and Gomes both found new energy which kept Sheff United at bay, Andre Gomes made some excellent distributions of the ball, needs time both physically and mentally to get fit showed he has another gear to step-up, If its one position Everton need to fill in the summer transfer window ? A defensive midfielder, far too many times teams break through are midfield without being challenged, biggest culprits are both Davies and Sigurdsson they offer no defence they are( in my opinion) the weak link, Calvert Lewin needs another striker to play off, maybe Anchelotti should give Ellis Simms a start against Bournemouth , the lads got quality and could also save us a few million , love Digne aggressiveness, he's one player who certainly has quality along with Richarlison.
Young Braithwaite did himself no harm gaining confidence with every game.
So what do we need to improve this squad players?
1) Pickford needs competition, he's been to complacent.
2) Another defender needed with Yerry Mina injury prone and Michael Keane's confidence shot.
3) For me, we need a leader,a challenger in defensive midfield a Peter Reid type player to organise.
4) we are badly missing Lukaku, its time we bought a replacement.
