Re: Everton v West Ham United
Poor in the first half, good in the second half. I thought Barry, Oviedo, Barkley and Lukaku were probably the pick of our players and, generally, the team snuffed out West Ham's threat with some ease.
Barkley needs to listen to the people around him - more energy, more running.
Can't actually believe our stats are as good as they are so far this season, cos we haven't looked much better than last season overall.
Onwards to Chelsea - I shall be there!

Re: Everton v West Ham United
Ross Barkley was a deserved MOTM, West Ham who dominated the first half, showed little in the second half as Everton started to believe they could win the game ,
Solid performances by Oviedo- Lukaku-Barry and Barkley, Bollasie put himself about which resulted in an easy goal for Lukaku, NOT convinced by Funes Mori thought he was poor. Guaye received a yellow card which means he's out of the Chelsea game.
onwards and upwards blues.

There's too many posts for a human to have reasonably made them all. A KOT-bot was clearly in use here.

Re: Everton v West Ham United
A straight forward 2-0 win.
I saw a few tweets yesterday about the phone in on Merseyside and I listened to it this afternoon.
Bloody hell there are some miserable fuckers who support Everton.
Everyone is shit apparently!
Not every game can be a 10/10 dominant performance. You have to grind results out sometimes. Football isn't straight forward, that is what makes it so good.
Even though the actual product is shit.

Going back to a comment Super made in the Crystal Palace thread, I have just realised that we ended an 81 match run in the league of never winning 2-0.

Oh right, I do recall that the number of games without a 2-0 win was crazy long. Cue another 2-0 win this weekend then?Barry Horne's Equaliser wrote:Going back to a comment Super made in the Crystal Palace thread, I have just realised that we ended an 81 match run in the league of never winning 2-0.

Well, the stat is for the league only - we did beat Chelsea in the Cup by that score last year before the arse really fell out of our season. Will take that again (the score I mean, not the arse falling out of our season).
