Duncan Ferguson - Legend
HOW !!!
Everton and Scotland football legend Duncan Ferguson declared bankrupt
Everton and Scotland football great Duncan Ferguson has gone bust, it has emerged.
Big Dunc, as he was known by fans, is now a first-team coach at the Merseyside club, but has been declared bankrupt in the High Court in London.
He was on the bench with the coaching team as Everton took on Manchester City tonight in the second leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final.
Just hours earlier it was revealed a bankruptcy petition had been brought against him by HM Revenue and Customs in December. The action against the 6ft 4in former striker was rubber-stamped at the High Court earlier this month.
Dad-of-three Ferguson is a cult hero in Liverpool after two spells playing for the blue half of the city. He has become a highly respected coach, working with Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

I think he is settling with HMRC of sorts! I think he may the first of many who are now deemed to owe huge amounts of tax after the court ruling about some of the investment schemes they all ploughed into.

Define Evertonian. He's still employed by the club. The standards on this site are really slipping.

Really shocking stuff if he indeed is broke. No wonder he came back then!
Re: Duncan Ferguson - Legend
Shame really after he helped some charities when a player - obviously don't know the details but feel sorry if he was badly advised

Re: Duncan Ferguson - Legend
I don't think he told any player related gossip. Most of the stuff was about his brushes with the scottish FA and the law (in general), and how he was always getting in fights in the pub when he was younger. Doesn't drink now (or at least he didn't on the night).
He was a really nice bloke, had time for everyone. In that last picture, which was actually the first picture of the evening, I was near the front of the huge queue of lads who had queued up for a picture, and instead of just taking the picture, he chatted to me for about 5 minutes, he thought he remembered me from somewhere, I told him it was probably from the lower bullens
It was a great night and he is a top bloke.

Jay... we did meet him ... he was with us in the Dixie Dean lounge... and if you can remember (and there is no way that you would...) we made quite an impression upon most that night....
PS you were no different from most other visitors I took in there... well tbh... Thor did well (but wore a red tie.... joking)...
