Everton vs Villarreal (Duncan Ferguson's Testimonial)
Is anyone from here going to it ?
It's not part of the O.S viewing package. Do you think that it will be possible to catch it streamed online ?

Re: Everton vs Villarreal (Duncan Ferguson's Testimonial)
Fans unable to make it to Goodison Park for today’s Duncan Ferguson testimonial can watch the game online.
For our legions of supporters based overseas and those Evertonians unable to attend today’s 3pm clash with Villarreal, evertontv will be providing live streaming.
Coverage is available free to anyone who has purchased a pre-season package of six, five, four, three or two games this summer and access will automatically be added to your account - just visit evertonfc.com/preseasonlive from 2.55pm.
The match will then be available to view in full on demand just hours after the final whistle.
If you haven’t bought a package this summer but would still like to watch, you can click here and purchase the game for a one-off price of £3.99.
Your commentators for the game will be evertontv's Darren Griffiths and former Blues midfielder Graham Stuart - and viewers will be able to send them their comments and questions via Twitter using #EFCLive.
Tickets to attend the game at Goodison Park are also still available. To buy, click here, call 0151 556 1878 or visit the Park End Box Office at Goodison Park.

I know it's only a friendly, but McCarthy played yesterday, as did Kone (allegedly). Two games in two days the week before the season opener?

"It is important for me that the players are given the best possible chance to show their abilities in their best moment, so, obviously, Kone and McCarthy have had very very important contributions in some intense and pressure games over the last weekend, so naturally they will not feature against Watford, or perhaps until middle of October when they have fully recovered, mentally as well as physically, from the demands of these two matches. Clearly, we need to speak about the authorities responsible for arranging two fixtures in two days against top, top teams like Leeds and the immense Villareal reserves XI. This kind of fixture pile-up shouldn't be forced upon us. So, it will be me up front and Gareth Barry and his missus in midfield against Watford. Thanks you."

Re: Everton vs Villarreal (Duncan Ferguson's Testimonial)
Like Mindyerho mentioned earlier, the tempo is good as well. Just wish that we had more of a threat up front.
Before Mirallas went off he was very active. Saw loads of the ball, which is what it seems he needs in order to be a part of the game.

Re: Everton vs Villarreal (Duncan Ferguson's Testimonial)
Villareal break with pace. That's what their game plan is based on.
Too often we have the midfielder receiving the ball with the back to the goal.

Re: Everton vs Villarreal (Duncan Ferguson's Testimonial)
Soft goal though. Baines pushed, though tbf he was trying to push the jumper.
We were also moving forward quickly, but wtf is Kone doing drifting wide? He needs to be in there making a nuisance of himself.

Re: Everton vs Villarreal (Duncan Ferguson's Testimonial)
Martinez likes to push his lone striker out on to the flank. It allegedly confuses the defence...mindyerho? wrote:Soft goal though. Baines pushed, though tbf he was trying to push the jumper.
