Sutton having another massive pop at Martinez on Talksport

Not sure who the other guest was but his "United were very, very poor and Everton did really well to be poorer" made me laugh.
Anyway, it's good that the media are having the same thoughts that we are regarding Bobby and team. A penny for BK's thoughts (and a billion pennies for Moshiri's)...

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini, who will be replaced by Pep Guardiola in the summer, is in talks with Valencia about succeeding Gary Neville as the club's manager. (Star)

Really? You just want to have Pelle in your username don't you?
His performance at Citeh has been underwhelming for me. I know that he won the Premiership in his first season but Bobby did well in his first season as well.
Since then his signings have been woeful (De Bruyne excepted).

Ok, I'll get me coat.

Wow!
I'm not convinced some of our players are as good as people think they are, but still we should be on the fringes of 4th.
It seems even the most patient, myself included, have turned against the Bobby Clown now. Enough is enough.

Never liked him but thought after the first season that I'd been proven wrong. Pity I wasn't because his attacking style of football is easy on the eye. I've seen his biggest supporters turn on him in the last few months. His time should be up, if we don't win the FA cup he'll be gone.

I'd sack him even if we win the cup. 14th place is abysmal.

I want to say he signed a 5 year deal after the end of the 2014 season, so he has 3 more years.Moshi Foo Gwladys wrote:anyone know how long the clown has got left on his contract... I doubt we'll have the balls to sack the twat but there would be uproar if we renewed with the prick

Swansea had sounded him out after sacking Monk. Doesn't speak English so would find it tough to impose himself. No thanks

Re: ROBERTO MARTINEZ - Meet the new boss (Same as the old boss?)
Today's press conference sounds like a classic. Martinez on being asked who is to blame for his team's poor form, replies:
You have to admire the cunt in a way, he's actually now out-bullshitting Brendan Rogers at his absolute peak. And that takes some fucking doing.
There is no such thing as blame

Re: ROBERTO MARTINEZ - Meet the new boss (Same as the old boss?)
You have to admire the pure cheek of Martinez,In saying ? He's done the same thing for last seven years ,Yep, Battling relegation with Wigan and now keeping Everton just short of the bowels the Premiership.
I'm sure Mr Farhad Moshiri is willing to part with his millions(NOT) just to see Mr In-consistent Squander his money.

I think that's largely his problem. When things are going badly he just keeps doing the same thing in the hope that something will change.
Aside from the ability of the individual players, football is also a confidence game and occasionally a change in attitude is required to scrap out a few wins - it can get some confidence back in the squad and also build some team spirit which is clearly lacking (even if Baines has apologised for saying as much).
He seems so incapable of getting the players to roll up their sleeves and dig in, he discourages it in fact. The first season was great because there was no noticeable dip, but the last two have been really poor and that is largely down to his inability to halt a slide. He's demonstrated that he's not prepared to change his approach even when the results are screaming out for it, so it's time for him to go now.

Yes, he's a stubborn fuck. I presume it's an ego thing, rather than a lack of intelligence. Moyes was stubborn too but at least he learnt to adapt, albeit slowly. It's a shame, as if Martinez was prepared to listen to advice he could have been our best manager since the 80's.
