Just saying like
I see Benitez isn't mentioned in the Ladbroke list.... I mean if you can do it once ... why not a second time.... just saying like...
Proven European manager.... decent European football campaigns.....
Oh and yes just think of the meltdown across the Park.... you could almost wish Manure would do it... just for the hell of it....
Just saying like,

Belting report from Sky news...
David Moyes is favorite to replace SAF, although he hasn't got serious champions league experience, which is a minimum requirement of the role.
SO if it's a minimum requirement why is he favorite you fucking bellwipe

Both of those names fill me with dread!

Any name mentioned fills me with dread.....
Surely we're above a Norwich or Sunderland appointment of someone with no high PL level experience!!!!
What about Di Matteo or Laudrup?

Vito Pereira at Porto is coming to the end of his contract in summer , he has already gone on record as saying he would like to work in the premiership.
Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
Solskjaer perhaps? Have been really impressed with Laudrup this season and you would be guaranteed exciting football.
We should be able to attract someone decent - given we are the best team outside of the top 5.
Depends on the appetite of the Board - would they go for an exciting name or some cheap boot cleaner from the Championship/NPower league?

Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
Can we keep Baines? Fellaini can fuck off, but I'd like to keep Leighton, and Jags.
Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
honestly? the only person he will take is baines, and maybe naismith.hairy cataract wrote:Can we keep Baines? Fellaini can fuck off, but I'd like to keep Leighton, and Jags.
Hopefully he has been talking with Bill about his successor the same way Fergie has with his board. H's good mates with Sam Allardyce isn't he?

yeah, Moyes and Big Sam are best buddies and its rumoured that Big Sam alerted Moyes to the availability of Naismith, whom he really rates....

It should be part of the deal - if he takes Baines, he has to have Naismith. And Vic, and Jelly.

If he agrees to join Man Utd then I would let him leave straight away.

To be fair... what could they do?
Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
At least go public and tell the fans what's going on? as it seems the Everton way is let the media break the story first and the excuses follow.Hinchcliffe Corner wrote:SEFTON wrote:Mr_Ben wrote:the jellyman wrote:if he has agreed to join them, i am sure there will be a very different atmosphere for our last home game on sunday

I bet who ever we get as next manager ? we will have to pay compensation.

a) what would that do to keep Moyes? which was your initial question.
b) I don't agree that going public on rumours is a smart move. Do the business behind the scenes and then announce when there's something concrete to announce.
Re: DAVID MOYES - ex Boss
The idea of Moyes going doesn't bother me too much. I've always supported him but at times this season I've felt that we need something fresh. What worries me is who we get as a replacement and Baines and others (but particularly Baines) jumping ship.
On the plus side, if he goes it will free up the wage bill for a few more players. I'm assuming whoever we get won't be a massive name and will hence be on a lot less.
You'd expect that the board will already have a short list in mind and made preliminary contact. Then again, who the fcuk am I kidding.
