Did wonder earlier this week whether or not Sunderland would end up being linked as Moyes builds an even older Everton mk II.

don't forget, when Moyes started at Everton we were down near the bottom and he bought in a load of journeyman players with experience who could do a job. He also kept going back to those who did what he asked them to and he stayed loyal to them.

I'd say he has been one of the best. Fantastic player for several seasons, but a great character on the pitch and great ambassador off it. Players like him and Baines don't come along too often. Wish him well.
