Dismal. Not a single.shot on target. Cant't get much worse. Luckily Luton lost and Brentford, Sheff U and Burnley all losing at the moment.

Re: Wolves v Toffees
Bag of fucking shite. DCL is a lost cause right now, his finishing is abysmal. Not that he's getting many chances of course.
If we can get a point from this it would an absolute triumph.

Re: Wolves v Toffees
Looking at our upcoming fixtures, we're almost certainly in for another end of the season dog-fight. We could be a long way behind by the middle of March, when our winnable games come around.
Fucking hell, another desperate, depressing, stressful season. Fuck you Everton.

At least Sheff Utd are losing, although Burnley look like they might get a point at Villa.

Re: Wolves v Toffees
yeah and with Luton losing earlier not a disaster ... we could do with Manure not playing like shit & beating Forest afterwards tooArmchair wrote:At least Sheff Utd are losing, although Burnley look like they might get a point at Villa.

Re: Wolves v Toffees
I guess that's football. When we were on our winning streak, I said that there was a lot of luck involved - playing teams like Newcastle and Chelsea at just the right moment, getting a few breaks, having few injuries - as well as finding a style that maximised our chances of winning with such a thin squad. The flip side of that is the losing run we're on now. It was kind of inevitable.
We have a hard run of games coming up before the end of March, when it looks a bit easier. If we can keep ourselves either outside the bottom three, or not fall too far behind the fourth from bottom, I still think we'll escape relegation but it might be closer than we had hoped.
We were awful today, and Wolves, who would have started the game beneath us if we hadn't had the points stolen from us, were a million miles better than us. The fans will probably turn if this carries on against Villa and Spurs at Goodison, and it might get a bit depressing.

Re: Wolves v Toffees
It shows the weakness of the squad. Duke is a big miss and anytime Keane plays a defeat is pretty likely as he is a fucking liability. How SD can prefer him to Godfrey is beyond me. The 10pt deduction has made us extremely vulnerable and we will be battling to survive. Luckily there are other shite teams so there is a chance.
If we are able to sign 1 player it just has to be a CB (..and why oh why did we let Coady go?? Fucking nuts!!) and just hope the strikers start firing!!
Today was horrendous but IF we can get out first XI out often enough, we can survive. Getting a few points back on an appeal would help too!!!

Re: Wolves v Toffees
I'm just writing yesterday off as a blip (for now).
I've not heard it mentioned but I presume we lose Douc and Idrissa for the AFCON? That will make things difficult.

Re: Wolves v Toffees
Duke has already stated he won't be playing in AFCON, which is great news and with Gueye's injury he may not be fit enough to be selected anyway, and fingers crossed would be back during the middle of it.

That's brilliant news about Duke. I'd missed that.
I reckon Europe is back on again.

So relieved that I missed this game, went to the lumber yard instead which was a wise decision.
