Re: Forest v Toffees
The yelling at the ref shit really ought to be stopped. All young kids are looking at this and are then thinking it's acceptable to scream at the ref.
Re: Forest v Toffees
Forest are pushing for the win. Johnson close to make it his third but thankfully his shot is just outside the frame of the goal.
Re: Forest v Toffees
Very little of a game plan when it comes to our play at the moment. Defend for life seems to be the motto.

Maupay I believe is coming on with Davis. Iwobi off from what I can tell. And Gray.
Re: Forest v Toffees
What on earth was Onana doing there, he just threw a player to the ground and naturally Forest get a freekick. Madness.

FT, 2-2.
Before the game started, if someone offered me a point, I'd likely taken it. However, being up 1-0 and 2-1 yet not being able to see it through, well, rather disappointed feeling despite it all.

Re: Forest v Toffees
Apart from twice picking the ball out of his own net, Navas had a very quiet day. He was never really tested at all.
Anyway, a point was obviously better than no point, so...

Re: Forest v Toffees
Disappointing we didn't control the game better in the second half. On the one hand, two goals scored, a point and not losing to a relegation rival are positives. On the other, if we can't beat Forest, who can we beat?

Correct. Forest looked poor, but that merely highlighted how terrible we are. Just looking at their bench compared to ours was scary.
I don't blame our players, they're trying hard, but I think Dyche is getting as much as he can out of them, and it's just not enough. The way we play, we need nobody to make an error, but with our sub-standard group that's an impossibility.
It's not over for us, but it's increasingly difficult to come up with an argument for us surviving with these players. It's going to be a sickener when we do go down, but realistically, can you see it not happening? We're now bottom three and everyone has a game in hand on us. The smell of relegation is getting stronger.
Re: Forest v Toffees
That's a painful one to take. When we go away from home and score two against a crap opponent, we really have to be winning those. If not, where are the wins coming from?
Just enough positives to keep utter despair at bay, for another week at least:
1. We scored two.
2. The draw keeps Forest very much in it.
3. In terms of general play we're no better and no worse than most other teams down the bottom, based overall on performances since Dyche came in.
That's not saying much, like.
If we beat Brentford, that will be 10 points from 7 games under Dyche. Not bad, mid-table form. We only need mid-table form to survive. The run of games after Brentford is nasty. So, big fucking game that.

Re: Forest v Toffees
I think it might be time to drop Onana - who seems to do less each game - and bring in Garner.
Re: Forest v Toffees
will our lone glass striker be available for 15 minutes next game I wonder ?

Well.we didnt lose. But that was pretty shit. Forest are crap and we couldnt hold.out. There just aren't any wins in this squad and the run in is difficult. Cant see a single point in the next 4 games so we are pretty much toast by the Fulham and Palarse games. Depressing times for a Blue but the reality is Championship football bar a miracle

Re: Forest v Toffees
We know we aren’t good enough and barring some miraculous rejuvenation, we’re down, so no point dwelling on how shit that was.
What depresses me more is the thought of this group in the Championship.

It sounds like he is close to match fitness. Which also means he is close to his next injury.
