Beaten by the worst team we will play all season.
We are going down and Frank will be sacked in January if not sooner

It's so bad it's almost laughable.
When Wolves launched the ball up the pitch in the 95th minute I just knew they were going to score.

Just naivety of the highest level,Made 4 Gwladys wrote:totally pathetic
Once we went into extra time, FL pushed 6 players to the edge of their pen area.
Then the back 3 passed it back and forth seemingly unable to figure out what to do. No movement ahead of them. Juts set up for an old fashioned hoof ball, which we failed to do, just a long ball to Gordon with no back-up when the move broke down.
It was the kind of tactic you would use if you were losing a cup tie.
Enough chances for a decent 9 and 10 to have taken.

Re: Everton v Wolves
Yeah I think that was the game that convinced me that Lampard isn't very good. I'm not going into any tactical detail as to why, I think it's pretty obvious to everyone. I know the squad is limited but I simply don't see any sign of what they're doing on the training ground to improve things.
I agree with Hairy, I think we're down this season irrespective of who the manager is. I've said many times in the past that we have to stop chopping and changing managers every five minutes, but I no longer see any value in keeping Lampard for the long-term if my head is telling me he doesn't really have a plan. So we're back into "may as well try something else, what's the worst that can happen?" territory. I don't think we risk losing anything by rolling the dice again, and it depresses me to find myself saying that.
Yes we had enough chances to win this game easily and it was our utter lack of ability to finish that cost us here. But it was Wolves at home - we should be creating chances against Wolves at home. It goes beyond that. I don't know what our identity is as a team, what are we trying to be and how we are going to get there. There really isn't anything I can cling to, to justify us keeping him in place.
We're like a shipwreck survivor with no plan for how to get to shore. We don't even know in which direction the nearest shore is, we're just bobbing around in the water, waiting to be rescued. But it's physically and psychologically exhausting trying to stay afloat and I think we're close to giving up and going under.
I have always been instinctively optimistic as an Evertonian. I have more patience than most, I think, and I've always been able to find something long-term to give me a bit of hope during dark days. I don't see anything right now; this is as hopeless a situation as I can remember and I think it's about to get far worse.
