Good half. Delph excellent. Siggy has put in some great crosses. Digne is getting skinned by Traore every time though, and Wolves are still a threat.

End to end stuff. We could do with another goal to settle my nerves.

Re: Everton v Wolves
Richie played well - both going forward and tracking back. Delph was very, very good, breaking up attacks, keeping possession, and getting us moving forward. 7 goals in a week is great, but 4 conceded so Marco has some work to do. But a very entertaining game.

Re: Everton v Wolves
Went to the pub/bar to watch the game - great tempo from the get-go.
I thought that Richie did very well tracking back, much more than I am used to seeing.
Iwobi was powerful and popped up with a goal (fantastic cross by Siggi on a bouncing ball).
Gomes did also very well in the middle, especially defensively. And if we can keep Delph healthy, that should be the inner midfield sorted.
Overall a great three points.

Re: Everton v Wolves
Couldn't watch the game, but sounds like I missed a nail-biter!
Getting the three points is the most important thing at this point in the season, while the new boys are still bedding in.
Great to have a couple of goals from Richie too!

Re: Everton v Wolves
Biggest factor was Fabian Delph put himself around, Marco Silva made a shocking comment Delph is not quite fit yet So more to come from him, Sigurdsson played well as did Richarlison, the young lad Moise Kean gonna take a while to settle in the Premiership. but? while we are battling and scoring and winning there won't be many complaints, got a two week break now so, players can get up to speed fitness wise.

Re: Everton v Wolves
thought we played well mostly, and took the goals well, the first was an error by their defense but it was Kean's pressing that caused the error, and Richarlison took it well although he did try to keep it down and it bounced up, but on target nonetheless. Iwobi's goal was from a fanatastic cross from Siggy and Richarlison's second was from a great cross from Digne, nice to see proper passes coming in from the wings, although to be fair, the wolves defence was all at sea.
Taking about defences being all at sea, their first goal was due to Digne not stopping the cross in the first place, and then Coleman stopping the ball right on the six yard line and gifting them the goal, their second was a bit weird, looks like they have worked on them throw's a bit, but Pickford saved us on a couple occasions so we need to sort our defence out again, get tighter where we can.
Thought Kean played well and was unlucky not to score, he's very direct and will start scoring goals soon. DCL looked anonymous when he came on, and his cameo compared to Kean's cameo showed the difference between the two, although hopefully DCL will watch and learn from Kean.
Overall happy with the result, and thought Wolves were strong in the attack but weak in defence, and we should have beaten them more easily.

Agree with most of that, but I think it's Kean who will be learning from DCL not the other way round. Kean is young, and can't hold the ball up and is fairly easy to knock off the ball. DCL came on and the difference was instant - he won everything in the air and he started causing problems of a different kind for the defence. Same with Bernard - Iwobi was great, but to have an option of a different style of play with Bernard and DCL coming on led to our winner. That for me was the best aspect - in DCL/Kean and Bernard/Iwobi we have options in two positions to play in completely different ways.
I'd love to see DCL and Kean in the same forward line though. Maybe Kean coming in from the right and Richarlison from the left, feeding off DCL's hold-up play and strength in the middle.
Great game overall, very entertaining. Also, hats off to Silva for his substitions and the way he got the team to up the intensity for the last fifteen minutes. I really thought we'd be lucky to escape with a draw after the second equaliser but in the end we could have won by more.

Hopefully they can learn from/compliment each other.
Kean looks like his running/positioning is better for a poacher. DCL is great at link up play and works his ass off.
If they can share those skills a bit, we could have a deadly pair on our hands for years to come!

Deffo. I think Kean will be particularly good in away games when we sit back a bit and hit on the counter. He oozes confidence in one-on-one situations. I'm having this fantasy in which he runs at VVD and leaves the red fucker lying on his arse as he completes his hat-trick in the derby
