Gordon on for Iwobi. There are some scattered applause from the crowd.

We weren't great but probably deserved a point. Really missed Richie and DCL.

Re: Everton v West Ham
I think Rafa should take some criticism for the game today. How on earth Rondon managed to stay on the pitch the entire game is beyond my comprehension. And Gordon should have come on at HT, at the latest, for Iwobi. Both Rondon and Iwobi were massively disappointing to me.
Digne is too slow with the ball as well.
The bright spots were few and far between. To me Grey has his moments of brilliance as did Townsend, but it was a pretty bleak performance overall.

One more "rant" here.... I'm not that upset about losing to West Ham - they are a pretty good well run team. What I am unhappy about is the lack of change when things are not going well. Again I keep on coming back to Iwobi and Rondon. They both needed to be subbed, at the latest, right after halftime. Granted, you could make the argument that Iwobi should not have started ahead of Gordon and Rondon not ahead of Dobbin, but since I have not seen much of Dobbin, I can't say too much there. I can however say that he should have come on with the odd 20 minutes left in Rondon's place.
Re: Everton v West Ham
I thought that was a game we should have won, and would have won if either Richarlison or DCL had been up front. We certainly had enough clear chances, not least iwobi’s embarrassing air kick in the first half, against a solid but not particularly threatening West Ham side. I think Rafa had us set up intelligently with a low block so we could hit the Ammers on the break and that worked well until the cockney fuckers scored, after which they dropped deeper themselves and managed the game out well.
Gray didn’t see too much of the ball but was still our best player by a mile.
Never mind. At least we’re not deluded geordies in their Arab head dresses and fat belly replica tops. I hope those tossers go down. Let’s see how they spend their blood money trying to get out of the championship over the next few years.
