West Ham v Everton
We're away, and we're all depressed and ambivalent after the most recent performance, so naturally we'll win.
We still have something to play for, but it all ends here if we lose. If we win, we're in a decent place. if we draw, the slow death of our season gets drawn out further.
I'm going for the Mighty Blues to nick a 7-goal thriller. West Ham 3 (Soucek, Devonshire, Bilic OG) Everton 4 (Coleman, Eastoe, Kenwright, Bilic OG)

HT. Decent performance. Solid at the back, bodies in midfield to stop West Ham attacks and Richie and DCL benefitting from having each for support.

Re: West Ham v Everton
Watching the game on the telly, Mexican broadcast so I have no idea what they are saying.
Our play is like most games - too slow most of the time and too negative.
There were two occasions in the first 20 or so minutes when Richie could have played in DCL but didn't. What's going on there? Is there something between the two that we don't know about? Richie doesn't look very happy either, but I guess he never really does.
The midfield is not involved enough - nothing new there I suppose, but we are tracking back and working hard at least. The goal came from Godfrey passing through the midfield, totally bypassing it, to DCL. And what a cool quality finish that was - well done.
West Ham don't mind going forward instead of the "safe" play (Holgate, don't read this) of going backwards. So what if they lose possession deep in the Everton half? At least that's my take on that - I rather see them gamble with a ball up to the front than playing it back to the own goalie.
Siggi's freekick was very good. Too bad that it didn't go in.
West Ham really like to get crosses in from the wings. Good thing that Cavani doesn't play for them, he probably would have bagged a goal by now.
And lastly, the MOTM from the first half goes to.... the ref. He let's them play and playacting is not rewarded. Love to see that. He's also been consistent, so I have nothing but praise for his first half performance.

And Bowen didn't manage to steer the ball in to the goal after it came back off the post. Wow.

When the midfield gets the ball there are too few options and they slow it down and pass backwards.
