Probably fair result in the end, although I didn't watch the first half, so my comment is based on the second half.

Frustrating as hell to see us not being able to take care of business at home. Again.

Missed way too many chances. Should have scored 3 or 4 at least.

The headlines still say things like "Everton's top four hopes dented", but who in their right minds still thinks we are either capable or deserving of a place in the CL?

This was a classic Carlo-era Everton performance. We should have been three up by the time someone decided a good plan would be to hand over control to a truly average Palace side, and sit back until they inevitably equalised.

Abysmal. And bringing on a clearly nowhere near match-ready Gbamin was idiocy of a level not seen for quite some time at Goodison.

The best thing about this season is not having to trudge all the way up to Liverpool every other week to watch this depressingly predictable crap.

The Gbamin sub was beyond me.
Then the next sub? Even a leggy Coleman was better than having no orthodox FB on the field.
The line up with 10 minutes to play was a head-scratcher.

The Gbamin sub was a strange one considering we were chasing a win ,then to take off Seamus Coleman (who I thought had a decent game) for Godfrey,
didn't make sense at all. don't understand why we bought Josh King unless Anchelotti don't trust him.so we need back up for DCL and Richarlison.
we have seriously got to bring in better quality players to kill off games. We Just can't keep spending budget on £30 million average players.

Players to go in the summer window? Just my opinion.

Sigurdsson-Gomes-Davies-Delph-Bollasie-Iwobie-Tosun-Besic-King-Bernard-Mina.

Player positions require filling?

GK-CB-RB-RW-2CF With two/three additional bench players.

cheers

Your list of players-to-go reminds me how woeful some of our spending has been.
Gomes seems to have not recovered mentally from that injury. He doesn't use his body or out-muscle as he used to do, and his forward passing looks suspect most of the time.
It also comes down to belief.
Then there's the movement out of defense. All too often caught or not even having an out-ball.
Anyway.....
